Essentially those are really just big nerf ball guns.

(this has been around for a while, sorry if it’s been mentioned)

Ah yes, I recall the guy at The Last Days of Foxhound linking to that awhile back.

Sweet. And by sweet I mean frickin cool.

And since this is in off topic anyway, I didn't want to make another thread cuz it's not THAT important, but it's never a Good Thing when you see that someone's just turned 12.

I made it so he was banned. I noticed his birthday were it said 12 so I posted and knew cx would do something(since he posted over at HQ about removing members under 13). But ya on topic, that thing is awesome. Its like a walking potato cannon. One main cannon and a 6 shot turret. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Good find.

Ah Snap!

Anyways, Those things remind me of robot shows I used to watch when I was little. I'm pretty sure the army knows. They probably have a prototype similar to it.

Actually, that thing is pretty tarrible for war. I doubt it could walk on anythign but smooth flat pavemeant. We have things called tanks and Hummers that do the same thing...Just cause somthing walks on legs and has guns doesnt make it own. Infact, it doesnt even walk, it just slide son wheels under the feet. Seems to use a roll on one foot and break onthe other to move. Not to mention this thing is slow as balls.

I don't think that's the point. The point is you have this absolutely pimpin chunk of metal on your front lawn.

someone needs to equip a bobcat with nerfy goodness, that would be about half as good as far as pimp goes and way better for practicality. The bobcat idea reminds of the guy who put armor plating on a bulldozer and started smashing peoples houses and eventually the cops shot him

NOTE: I'm not saying anyone should buy a bobcat for this reason, I mean if someone has one lying around

..What.. come on man.. just.. no

Anyway.

Yeah it uses wheels, and no it's not really a military threat. Fake guns, fake armor, fake legs essentially harmless, none the less an interesting design and engineering project.
