Okay, so I did the air restrictor mod and 1st stage clip mod to my mav. It shoots fine for like 5 shots and there's one horrible shot always. I'm thinking it might be a bad seal in the barrel drum. I used mega darts to bridge the gap between the back of the drum and the barrels. I'm guessing I should use hot glue instead. Opinions??
Also, I just thought of this for a potential upgrade idea and I'm wondering if you think it will work...
For the mav, the barrel drum is held in by both sides. Has anyone ever considered chopping off the front, boring out the center hole a little more, and then just putting a long screw or threaded rod into it? This would allow for longer barrels but I'm afraid that the rod may break due to all the weight strained on it. I'm also thinking that this could be done with the firefly.

It's been though of for the firefly, I think it was ninjz that edited a pic of the fire fly with that idea. It's definatly a bad seal.
And as everyone knows, money makes the world go round. It's also the root of all evil, therefore the world going round is evil, and we should stop the rotation of the planet.

The Mav doesnt need longer barrels. Your barrels should only be about 3.5-4 inches logn anyways. The Mav isnt that powerfull.

makes sense, the barrel extention would apply more towards the firefly or nf-mav hybrids. The Mav doesnt need longer barrels. Your barrels should only be about 3.5-4 inches logn anyways. The Mav isnt that powerfull.
