I've just created a competition at virtualstockexhange.com. You may register there (free of charge) and join the competition. Comp ID is Nerf. We can brainstorm ideas for a prize for the winner here. I encourage you to join. This is a rather fun game I took part in during one of my business classes this year. It is based off the real market prices, and quotes can be found on various sites. Sometimes it gets real addicting to buy stuff. I've set the beginning amount at $100000. You have the option to make your portfolio private for your own viewing. Once again, I hope you join. It is fun. If you have questions, post them.

I do a similar thing with AOL, you can creat a portfolio with fake money and buy stocks. Sometimes you win money and sometimes you lose.

While we're on the subject, does anyone else watch Mad Money with Kramer? I started watching and have learnd to love it. If you havn't watched before, it is very lively and sometimes very fast. Once you watch for a while you'll love it.

I bought 3000 stocks in companies that all went up the day before last, and yesterday, they all went down. :P

That's why you don't buy stocks based on how they did yesterday.

That sucks butt. I usually buy low, sell high. It's pretty fun since you aren't using real money. Sounds like we have a fair amount of interest in this. Cool.
