im about to go buy a regular pvc pipe at the hardware store, im gonna use it for my nite finder, what pvc pipe size do i need, and will regular pvc even work, or do i need something else

For micros, PVC will not work, unless you're nesting a Crayola or CPVC in it, but for megas (though an NF wouldn't have much power for them), 1/2" PVC is the way to go. Don't use PVC unless you're going to use a micro barrel in it. And search next time, there is an overabundant number of topics like this.

Yes, usually your local Lowe's or Home Depot will carry CPVC, 1/2" is what you want.

I prefer lowes over home depot because they sell 5' and 10' sections of it, Also there cpvc has a smaller od then the stuff sold at my home depot. Maybe thats just my area though. But ya I'd use some cpvc for your NF. I made the mistake and bought 1/2 pvc for mine, that didn't work too well.

Everyone just stop... please. CPVC works for some FBR in some guns but is completely useless for other FBR and most guns.

Read this article for a decent overview of different darts and barrels and the guns they are suited to.

The bottom line, in every case, is taking YOUR darts to the store to find out what fits.
