ore than once i've Thought of the idea of a Co2 nerf gun, and ever since i saw the uber-inexpensive Brass Eagle Blade02 i thought "Hey I think i've finaly found it, my Co2 Nerf Doom Cannon!"

so i promptly bought one, and well, the early tests were impressive on the power side, It would rip my micro stefan to shreds, literaly.

I Tried to make my own New form of Nerf ammo using 5/8 FBR and cutting it into spherical stafans weighted in the center that would fit in a paintball hopper, I called them "nubs" the only problem was that the nubs couldn't withstand the power of the Blade02 either. Poor Nubs, your concept was soo awesome...

Hell, i even tried making Mega stefans and directly shoveing them in the barrel, no dice.

finaly i came up with what would be the answer to my problem: Air restrictors!!! yes, the one thing that we modders loath most was the only way to let this bad boy fling foam forcefully.

I took one Stock barrel from an AT2K Turret, and placed into the front of the barrel, it's a really tight fit (sorry i don't have pics, my camera is on drugs) i then taped it on with elicterical tape. I then shoved a crayola barrel into the orange turret barrel, and tapped it too.

From there all ya gotta do is slide over a peice of PVC a-la AT2K Breech

And BAM! One Co2 Foam DOOM CANNON!!! a not-so silent loser this thing gets darn good ranges (similar to a brassed single-barrel AT2K) and 20+ shots per Co2 canister. This Would be my new primary...but that would be mean...

I'll post pics of the real thing once my camera gets out of rehab

Pretty cool man. But I think this same thing is on Yakman's site. Either way cool.

Splat

Dude, that's costly. It's usually $30 for the gun, 10 cents for a Stefan, and ~20 cents for one shot out of the little cartridge. That's ~30 cents for every shot, though Stefans are reusable. Still, ~20 cents a shot WILL add up quickly if you consider how good the RoF of this thing is.

It's still cool though. Way cool. I think it's good that you added air restriction. What ranges are you getting? I would restrict it to about 50' flat because of it's insane RoF for a single-shot gun and it's mad accuracy.

nice, one ammo idea I have is something I use now that my titan kills my homemade micros, they are basically the tips of my homemade darts
INSTRUCTIONS:
make a somewhat tight hole for a single mardi gras bead (they are fairly easy to take off the string) push the bead in and duct tape it in (use enough so you don't kill people with the bead), in the end the dart should be about 1/2 an inch long and covered in duct tapePosted Image
you can put more than one in the barrel for shotgun-ness. range is quite good, accuracy is pretty good with one and velocity is crazy, of course you can use steel ball bearings, brass BBs or lead sinkers but they may kill people so I avoid them

Neat, so uhh, why? Not to over state what’s already been said (it’s been done before), but who is going to let you shoot at them with that? I’ve tested modded paintball guns. Shooting well made darts they can fire at over 335-360 FPS even cracking older goggles. That’s a danger not a toy any more and it’s not something to be posted on a site where even younger and stupider kids sometimes go and may do something stupid. The talon, blade what ever isn’t a powerful paintball gun, but it’s prone to velocity jumps and can fire nearing most field limits and on a hot day breaking them.

Just to make it clear: I do NOT intend to war with this gun, and it really doesn't shoot much different in comparrison to my Brassed AT2K(which was put to good use at CAFF today) but more than anything i did it because I wanted to, it doesn't have the greatest Rate of fire either, because first you have to cock it, remove the breech, load a dart replace the breech, suddenly it's not much different to any other high powered single shot gun, honestly...

These are the jokes folks:

sorry i don't have pics, my camera is on drugs...

I'll post pics of the real thing once my camera gets out of rehab
