I have decided to not write Nerf Magazine.

1. Foam Improvement, the first Nerf Magazine, failed.

2. Why the crap do we need a magazine if we can get articles, pictures,
and more right here?

3. I trust Talio's opinion\wisdom.

4. I don't have enough time to write a Nerf Magazine, and you don't
have enough time to sit and read it. Go outside and Nerf!

I am disapointed in you . You should stand up for what you believe in. Don't let Tal or anyone else say otherwise. If it were me, I would go for it. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, again. You had a good idea, and you let Tal squash it. I could be a co-writer on the magazine if you stay with this.

Now to put my points to your points

1.Foam Improvement, the first Nerf Magazine, failed. So what? Just because something fails doesn't mean that a similar idea will fail as well.

2. Why the crap do we need a magazine if we can get articles, pictures,
and more right here? You are sorta right, but it could have editorials and such. Maybe even a section to ask the pros (Tal and the other guys who have been nerfing for a while now.) questions.

3. I trust Talio's opinion\wisdom. I (no offense intended, Tal) don't think he was being too nice about his "wisdom" as you call it.

4. I don't have enough time to write a Nerf Magazine, and you don't
have enough time to sit and read it. Go outside and Nerf! If you got others to help you, it would make it easier for you. I will with summer vacation coming up. The last sentence I agree with, though.

OK. VGN maybe you should start writing your own nerf mag. You think it's really good and trying to force him to go on. Just make one yourself if you really want to. I thought it'd be a cool idea to, but I respected that it would be just to much of a hassle for him. As you said before, VGN, you both go your separate ways.

I am counting three Nerf Mag topics, when one would have easily sufficed. Why is this?

I do tend to disagree with Talio's previous post in the last topic (hence why I hate there being three topics). You can take on Nerf related projects and Nerf at the same time. Some of us still manage to pull it off. It is rather difficult, but it can be done. I think what Talio meant is that usually one side of the equation fails, and he would rather see the online publication fail than your nerfing experience.

No no, you had it all wrong. Thing is, he's a new member, and he's excited. I'm all for that, problem is it gets channeled wrong. I was the same way. Go back and look at my first posts here. I was all about homemades. I had never really done modified nerf. Then I had a few wars under my belt, and I'm hooking electrical solonoids to guns. What I'm saying is that before you start taking on projects, get plenty of expereience in the community and field so you have a better chance of coming up with something useful. To many projects fail because they don't have the right kind of material.

NL, you don't have to. I was saying that Tal's post kinda stopped you flat. I do respect Tal (kinda), thank you very much. THREE [bleep]-ing topics though! That is a waste of space. Ok I feel better now.

A: if hes writing it let him decide.

B: if he wants to stop than dont try to convince him to write the magazine.

C: no one likes to have people trying to get on his case.


please don't get mad at me im just pointing out that their is no need for arguements of this type.
