I received an unmodded Splitfire from flamebo a couple days ago. I noticed that one barrel was shooting harder than the other. This was with stock megas. I twisted out the pegs and tried mega Stefans and stock megas again. Same thing.

Do Splitfires normally do this? Also, it's madly inaccurate. I would blame that on the poor quality of my Stefans, but it's with both Stefans and stock megas.

I'm going to PVC it and see if it helps.

Edit:

The barrel on the left (transparent side, second shot) shoots farther than the barrel on the right (solid side, first shot) if that helps.

The second barrel is probably weaker due to a problem with the pressure distribution? Try firing them both at the same time and see if you have this problem. Mine has great accuracy so I don't see why yours wouldn't.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that, it's not gonna work to well with stock darts, I got that one NIB and even before I modded it it was blowing stock darts up, I kinda forgot it did that its been so long. Plus now I think I plugged the pump so you pretty much have to mod it to get it to work properly. And besides, it'd be a waste not to mod it.

Edit: I think the power difference is normal for most splitfires, try pulling the trigger faster for the weaker side, that usually helps when I'm using my other ones. And now that I reread that I realize I got that one at a thrift store with my other two, the one I gt nib orginally went to team slaya.

Okay, something is definitely wrong with my Splitfire. I just tried it with SuperMAXX darts, and the first dart fired perfectly, the second one went about 2 feet. Three times in a row it did this.

Edit: Shit dude you plugged the pump!?! Dude you didn't tell me that. I pump it four times and the fifth pump sounds weird, and like the seventh sounds REALLY weird.

No, see my other one I plugged the pump, that one is completely stock, the wierd sound is the over pressure release valve releasing the excess air. And even with the pumped plugged seven pumps would be in the limits of that gun, I do 6-8 with my others. Sorry about the confusion.

Most people will disagree with me, but the splitfire in my mind is really only a single shot blaster with two barrels. Firing twice is a neat gimmick as far as I’m concerned. It’s hard to fire one dart then the other with out have one shot loose some power. Some people can do this, I can’t. The way the valve is done you just got to pull the trigger just right.
Sounds like basic stock split fire, as said, not sure. Extra advice after you mod it and plug the pump if you do fire one barrel NEVER pump it again until you’ve fired the second by pulling the trigger all the way back. On my favorite spitfire I have a spacer on the trigger so it fires bother shots at once, personal preference. The splitfire is probably my favorite gun, hope you enjoy it and don’t go threw as many as I have.

And I've found the low pressure problem isn't as bad when you plug the pump, just practice pulling the trigger really fast and only far enough to fire one shot and the second shot usually fires just as well.
