Please help, me and my friend were trying to mod a maverick. We followed pretty much ever instruction and now the gun wont shoot.

Alright this is what we did. We took out the air restrictors and thing with the spicky thing. And cut up a foam dart and filled in the spaces where the air ristrictors were. So now when we put it all togeather. it doesnt fire.

Plesae help!

wen i shoot it, i can feel a bit of air. There is Nothing blocking it. What are we doing wrong?

is my marverick junk now?

What mod did you follow? That would help a lot.

It sounds like you blocked of the airways. Did you completely cover the air holes with foam? If you did, that's why it isn't shooting.

yeah i made sure the air holes *areN't* covered.

i have no idea whats wrong... maybe the air pusher thingy isnt connected well?

Bad seal in the turret most likely, I honestly don't see why people don't just cut out the restrictors instead of putting foam in there, if you've still got the plastic sticks cut them out in the middle and put them back in(only the bottom circle needs to go back in).

i already threw out the plastic holder things, all that is left is the foam.

try using a better material to seal it? Maybe rubber/vinyl tubing?

guys! alright i lengthened the foam things that replaced the air resitors and the gun shoots .... like 4 feet, what am i doing wrong?

If you post pictures, we could help you alot more- it's hard to tell the problem from your descriptions alone.

And please...come on, I don't mean to be anal or everything and I'm not a post-whoring newb but this thread is really annoying me due to the lack of respect to your english teachers. Let's keep the posts at least at a 7th grade level. I mean, we are, all at least 13, right?

And in any case, I didn't bother with modding my Mav at all even though I might resort to plugging up maybe one of the air restrictors. For the effort, it's not really worth the extra distance you'll be getting but that's my general opinion.

As stated in the code of conduct it is a rule that you use proper puncuation and spelling among other things and you can have your account deleted with little or no warning if you break a rule.
