I just spraypainted my ppked nf florescent orange. My home depot had no krylon only rustolem. I did plastic primer first than sprayed on the paint as per the directions. The primer also says that I should wait 5-7 days for maximum adhesion. Do I really need to wait that long. I dont want to touch it too early and screw it up . Just wondering if 5-7 days is a warning that needs to be taken serously.

Yeah, you should wait a while, it will still be sticky and leave fingerprints.

That really dosent help. Im using a primer and I was wondering if the reactions with the primer really need 5-7 days or is that an extreme safeguard.
