So a few of my friends and I are having one of our all night wars out it the country this weekend so I started to do check through my arsenal and see if anything needed improvements. Besides my WildFire exploding and my TTG shooting the whole plunger assembly out the front of the gun, it was an ok check up, except for my good ol' Mav. I knew that it would get used this weekend so I decided to try and beef it up. While looking through my massive basin of busted guns and parts. I came across two good sized springs. One I believe was to a SneakShot but the other is unknown. The SneakShot one pretty good and was about the same diameter as the Mav.
So I figured what the hell and put the spring in. It fit perfectly. Getting the case back on was a bit of a challenge but after a few tries. It went together. I noticed that when cocking the gun there was a greatly noticable increase in resistance. I loaded it up and shot a few rounds. I was very amazed. It shot about with the same power of my NFs so went outside fore a range test. The result of the test:.... 65-70 ft! Ot quite on par with the NF but close enough, and with six shots its awesome. I am very satisfied with it. It is definately my new favorite sidearm.
The only downside is that I noticed that the plastic around the pulger was becoming stressed and will need some reinforcement, but no biggie. Anyway, I highly recommend looking through your broken guns and find somehting that fits. Its a quick ten minute mod with astounding results.
