Edit:
Your hub only has 4 ports, 4 and 5 are cross-wired connections for the same port.

You don't need a crossover cable to go from an xbox to a hub, you need a crossover cable to go from an xbox to an xbox. You need a standard ethernet cable to go from an xbox to a hub. You can use the cables your computers plug into the hub with.
I said here its for xbox to xbox.
I have the crossover cables but when I did it the xbox would let one go into the lan game setup (it was plugged into th input labeled 1) but the other says the cable is out. (plugged into WAN)
I need help for solving this problem.

You're not doing this:
xbox ---------------------------- xbox
you're doing this:
xbox ---------------- hub ------------------ xbox
Or did you just mention the hub in order to confuse us?

xbox------------------------hub-----------------------------xbox
^plugged into wan using eathernet cable ^plugged into 1 using crossover cable (I had allready tried with two eathernet cables but that dosent work)
...and having other xboxes hooked into 2 and 3 with crossover cables?
EDIT: Lan connection will not work with xboxes if a standard ethernet cable is used because (i think) crossover cable has same amout of information passing each way and ethernet cable has diffrent because it only needs to bring in (the internet) somthing.

You can get up to 4 xboxes working on that hub with the following configuration.
xbox1 ----standard cable--- port 1
xbox2 ----standard cable--- port 2
xbox3 ----standard cable--- port 3
xbox4 ----standard cable--- port 4
OR
xbox4 ----crossover cable--- uplink
Edit: was using uplink/WAN interchangably. You shouldn't have anything on the WAN port.

You're not listening/getting what people are saying. Thats why they're gettign frustrated. Forget whatever it is you thought you knew what you were doing and just do exactly what they told you.^^^You dont need xbox live to do a LAN connection.
If you're only connecting TWO systems together, just connect them directly to each with a normal cable. NO ROUTER INVOLVED.
If you're connecting more than one together, use what Cx said.
The only thing he mentioned about using the internet is for xbox live and playing your xbox on live. He said nothing about using live to connect two systems together. You werent reading it correctly.

I understand that. But why would the use of live even be mentioned. It seems superflous to state somthing about the internet when LAN is being talked about. I am gonna try what Cx said(its for mutiple xboxes). The only thing he mentioned about using the internet is for xbox live and playing your xbox on live. He said nothing about using live to connect two systems together. You werent reading it correctly.
