After range testing, my quad barreled sm1500 can consistently get 110 pretty accurately, and my single barreled at2k can get 115 borderline accuracy. Me and about 5 of my friends had an outdoor war at a playground yesterday, and let me tell you, it use to be all about charging, but now everyone is too afraid to get within range of some of our guns. After everyone got used to being hit, they started to suck it up and have some fun. We ended up having a killer time charging for the flag. We had it set up so the pentagon shaped platform held the flag and was a safe zone. So once you got in, you could plot your way out with your partner. It was pretty cool.
We will be having a summer war in June, although we don't have a name for it yet. Hopefully I will be able to get some more of my clan members up on the forums. Although I still enjoy indoor wars, I find outdoor wars require much more skill and are more fun.

I also find that guns shooting at those ranges can lose their appeal in closed in area. If you're playing entirely in the open and everyone is fairly conservative about their fire, it should continue to be ok, but there's nothing like kicking ass with a little bit weaker gun. Gives you some extra skill and a bold fieeling that you actually accomplished something.
Have a good time at whatever you do.

Edit: Okay sorry for the inaccurate ranges the first time, but both guns do break 100' level shot. Maximum. The sm1500 quad averages about 98' while the at2k single barrel can consistently hit 100'. Still pretty impressive. I also feel that I've perfected my mega stefan making skills.
