I am also very enthusiastic about the news. This means the the three PCs in my basement at home will not decrease in value. Can you say ebay? :D

In all seriousness, the BBB is a good weapon and will be a nice addition to many Nerf Arsenals. I have seen my brother wield one for years and he has had nothing but positive things to say about it.

All you mentioned was one gun being re-released. I thought there would be at least two more being re-released. Is the BBB the only one being re-released? I need to know what to expect so I can save up money to buy more nerf guns. Since I'm pretty new I'd like to have at least one or two classic guns.

I wouldn't know because I have ever had a BBB, or any of the old guns that are discountinued.

Well if you have read through the entire topic before posting (and I suggest you do this) you would find out that the BBB is comparable to the crossbow, which is one of the best guns out there, range wise at least.

here is the quote:

The bbb is a classic nerf spring rifle like the x-bow. It as meant to shoot arrows which means that the amount of power it has is greater than guns made to shoot darts, this is very good. Its got a large plunger and nice big spring. I'd say that it's a bit tougher to mod than an x-bow but just my opinion. It's a very nice gun. Well modded it gets similar if not better ranges than an x-bow. They are not really sturdy and with age, the trigger becomes a bitch to pull. Also it sometimes jams in the cocked position, or at least mine does. But hopefully they will fix some of these problems. I would highly advise that you pick one up if you don't have one. They are rally fun to use. Definately one of the best ever.

The BBB is a great gun, but it really would be interesting to see another older gun out there. I'm gonna ask the same question I've seen, is there going to be more? I wouldn't be dissatisfied; I've always wanted a BBB, but I'd really like to see more classics re-released. It would be nice to see another pump-pistol out there, like the SF. If Hasbro keeps making more classics, I'd be in hog heaven. It could be Nerf's glorious comeback. The N-Strike series is a big stepping stone, but bringing back some guns would be an incredible boost. I'm definitely turned on by this, but the BBB makes me have anxiety attacks over what could be around the next corner. :P

YES!!! I dreamt it would happen, but I seriously doubted it with things like the Powerclip and stuff. I mean, every little 6 year old out there would rather have a fully automatic 10-shot clip loaded gun over a single shot arrow-shooter that's taller than they are. But this is freaking awesome!

Please say the rest of Hyper Sight will be re-released too (without lying) PLEASE?!?!?!

I've heard that over time, the BBB would blast its own barrel off, Maximizer/Max Shot-style. I'm getting one regardless, and I hope they manufacture it with plastic that's not as flimsy, as some people have said it had, but I was wondering if someone can confirm the BBB's suicidal tendencies? Wow... imagine that. A crossbow-like weapon being re-released.

Not that I've heard of. The barrel and plunger components are durable, it's the catch mechanism used in cocking it and the case material that's brittle. Basically, after you've used it enough, you'll go to cock it and you'll have one piece in each hand.

I would have been floored if it had been the BBB and the PC. As it is, I'm mostly floored as the BBB is badass and mine recently broke. I have a new primary now. My primaries, Maxshot and BBB, have both been jacked up. This is good news. Hopefully there will be some surprises like the Air Tech 3000 being re-released this year.

Very true. Mine use to do that. Till I git some scotch tape and tapped the edge of my barrels so that it would have a pretty snug fit. Fixed that problem quick.

AT3k's still being sold, buddy. I'm not sure that Hasbro would make a re-release of it. They don't really have anything to improve on it either (I would like it to fit my hands better though.) If they did, it could be nice, but I don't see that for a while.

Rereleases don't improve performance- just a new paint job sometimes. Also, Captain knows that the AT3K was rereleased- he means there will be other big rereleases, too.

I had a BBB as a 7 year old. It was so fucking fun, me and my uncle would shoot targets with it outside.

I'm semi-disapointed, I mean a $10 maxshot is a far better deal. Its not like it was the rerelease of the double crossbow, but come on! I'd rather have a PC or rapidfire 20. s for durability, the BBB is about as good as any. You can feel it vibrate in your hands when you fire and the trigger is a bitch, but its really not that bad long term.
