Allow me to introduce myself. I am a Captain in the FDG clan. (Our ranks are naval) Some of the older members of this forum might remember Supreme Admiral: FDG. He is our clan leader, and a good one too. He has not posted in awhile, but another member has. His name on these forums is lonestar6606. I would like to apologize for his behavior, and his not-reading-the-rules-of-conduct.
The FDG was founded by the supreme admiral awhile ago (5 years?) but only had about three members and did not have many wars. It did not get big until two or three years ago. That was when me (ssgtsiler) and my friend got intrested in nerf when the admiral and his 2IC told us about nerf. We were instantly drawn in. We started planning wars, inviting our friends, and soon we had an avarage of 12 people coming to each nerf war! We have wars occasionally, about once a month, on avarage.
The admiral has a fairly big nerf arsenal, while his 2IC is great at homemades and modding (he has some scary kitbashes!). Me and some other senior members have a smallish arsenal (2-10 guns), but most of our clan is gunless. They just come for the fun. I like experementing with new types of ammo and like trying new mods. I am not that great with mods, and I subtract about 10 to 20 feet from avarage distance the mod gives online.
The clan is going to have a website (hopefully!) and we try to have nerf wars often. Last year I went to private school and I got a few more people intrested in nerf. I will try to get the supreme admiral back on these forums, but he is busy most of the time. I would like to thank the nerf community for nerf, and cxwq for this awsome site. I will visit these fourms to share my ideas, mods, clan news and to get updates on nerf. Also, I would like to know the location of the closest nerfers (we are based in southern New Hampshire, in Stratham, and if you dont know where that is, its near Exeter, which is nearish to Portsmouuth.

There's a Connecticut War being planned for April 23. The FDG should make it a priority to get there and enjoy themselves with NJ nerfers Hersh and Evil!

I asked my mom, and she said "you would need a parent to go"
My response "we can do that........."
She said "you would need one if it was overnight, because its so far away"
I said "uh, I am not sure, Ill go check"
Our two leaders are 18 and 19? How many people will be there? The Nerf HQ thread is confusing, it dosent really conclude who is hosting the war. Would you be so kind as to tell me where the FINAL location is?

There will be three or more members there over the age of 18. We've been doing this for 5 years (some of us) and are responsible enough that your parents shouldn't have much to worry about. However, I understand why your parents would be concerned and they are welcome to spend the first few rounds with us at the event so that they may feel comfortable with who they are letting their children spend an afternoon with.

I'm sure Hersh, Atti, and myself would be willing to greet and discuss with your parents whatever their concerns are. In fact, they can feel free to e-mail me at my college e-mail address which is mreed@ramapo.edu.

The event is not an overnight event and staying overnight is unnecessary.

There is no set location as of yet, however if you stay up-to-date with the thread, you should be as informed as the rest of us. Contact me over AIM if you need.

Hi all, it has been a while, hasn't it. I've always wanted to bring the FDG down for a war, the greatest problem with it is justifying the significant trip to various parents involved. CT from NH and back in one day is a lot of traveling (I know because I do it to visit family every once in a while).

I was wondering what happened to you, and when ssgtstiler registered, that's when mention of the FDG came up again.

We used to moderate the early NHQ boards; I forget which board you took care of, but I was General Nerf Discussion moderator (under my old SN, Ol Fart) for a couple months, before I moved work/home/family, so I dropped out.

If you haven't been lurking, someone will probably bring you up to date as to what's cooking.

We used to moderate the early NHQ boards; I forget which board you took care of, but I was General Nerf Discussion moderator (under my old SN, Ol Fart)  for a couple months, before I moved work/home/family, so I dropped out.

I was in charge of trading. I remember those days.

If you haven't been lurking, someone will probably bring you up to date as to what's cooking.

Havn't really had time to lurk. I Shortly after I dropped off the face of the forums, I started actually pushing nerf around here a bit more than I was. A little while after Evil left NHQ I realized that I was spending all of my time involved with the forums, and was doing little actual nerfing, and wasn't getting much enjoyment our of nerf as a result, so I changed that. I've been following nerf a bit, mostly modding and fighting at the occasional war around here.

Get back on the boards!

I'll try to stick around for a bit now, I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Me and a bunch of friends live in Dover NH. So we live Very close to you. I know it has been a few months since this topic was started but... And did any of you fence? There were a few Nerfers who took fencing lessons with me before i started.
