Just wondering, does anyone know what to do with those ugly blue marks that jeans leave on your shoes? I wear all white adidas and it makes them look dirty and takes a while to clean off. I've heard somewhere that washing the bottom part of each leg in vinegar solves it, but does anyone else know anything about it?

How exactly do you get blue marks on your shoes from your jeans? I just don't understand the concept.. Elaborate?

Does that happen when you get your pants wet? Just don't go in water, I guess.

There are a few things to consider about your jeans. First of all, some brands just do that. Secondly, if they're new, give them a few washes, including inside out washing. Other things you could try are avoiding contact of jeans to shoes by some strange method like tape on the inside of jeans or rubber band. Also, sometimes using water proofing products on your shoes will prevent stains from attaching. If all else fails (or it's not worth the trouble), just avoid wearing that combonation.

Im talking about the dye from my jeans absorbing onto my shoes leaving dark blue or whatever color my jeans are.

I can't stop wearing them because they're mad comfortable, but I'll try the inside out wash.

But, how does the dye get onto your shoes? I don't understand how a pant leg could lose dye just by glancing off your shoes.

I've been thinking the same thing. This whole topic brings justice to my mother's old avdvice: never buy white shoes. They always get dirty and the marks and dirt are really noticeable. Who really wants to spend time washing/cleaning shoes?

Considering I'm miles away from the cutting edge of fashion and probably have never had the word style used in the same sentence as my name, I don't own any white sneakers.

Certain jeans just rub off a little bit of color when they're new. Try washing them a few times, like someone else said, should get rid of the problem.
