Hmm, I'm around twin cities. Any idea how long of a drive that would be?

Yeah, the former Merry Mafia might like to. We're 20 miles outside of Duluth, but we may be able to make the drive. I've posted this a few times, and now there actually seems to be response. Where in South MN are you planning on? I just have to work out drivers, and I should be able to bring 7 or 8 people. Jangadance has also said that he could have a war in Minneapolis. This would be awesome, we would have several groups/clans. Keep posting info. My people could make it in July, or late August this summer. Who knows, this could become a huge war someday. We could be looking at something really big! :w00t:

Yes, i also am pretty excited to see where this will go. As for Lorfofthering343, thats a pretty long ass haul to drive. Maybe 3-4 hours! Im not gonna say what town we live in but uh, southern minnesota seems sorta a long shot for you duluthans. By the way, i don't know where i heard this and i might be wrong but... is the lift bridge still up in duluth?

Yeah, it is a long-ass drive, but we might be willing to make the commute. An MNNO is something we've been looking forward to for since 8th grade (we're juniors in high school now). Those were the good ol' days, when Nerf was huge. But, hey, now it's making a great comeback. This will be the closest thing to a big-war we've ever got the chance to do for small-town Minnesota. I think we would enjoy the roadtrip though.

EDIT: Oh yeah, as for the lift bridge, it's alive and kickin'! We hang out by it every now and zen...

We are in Owatonna but the war will probably in Faribault, MN but im not sure quite yet. Whiplord that would be about 45 minutes away, how many guys would come with you or is it just you? And yea that would be a pretty long drive from Duluth but if you could make it that would just awesome. And- What ages are you guys?

If I do come, it would probably be just me. The people I nerf with are slightly younger, so just telling their parents "Yeah, we're gonna take your child and go play war games with soem people I've never met, 'K?" probably wouldn't go so well.

I myself am 15

MNNO...or Minnow...that sounds really cool. So how many total people is that? If this works, it may advance to an inter-state war with Wisconsin, Iowa, The Dakotas, perhaps Illinois or even Canada...That would be friggin awesome. Just out of curiousity, what guns would you guys bring?

Well so far that would be 15, I really hope more would come. The only issue that the quilted northerns might have is convincing our parents to let us war with guys we havent met yet. Does anybody have any suggestions to help convince them that its ok? If I came I would bring my LOTR crossbow, dart modded dt3 (arrow part) at2k quad barreled and nf/at2k integration and my nf. No I wouldnt use all of those in one battle if thats what you meant.

I'd bring a PVC-modded SM1500, a PC, Crayola-mod SS1, PVC-mod NF, and maybe my RF20 (if I fix it), not intending to use each one. I've got a friend who would probably bring an NF, BBB, SM750, PC, SM1500, and AT3k with similar mods.

Hey Validus, you're at Sheboygan, right? I've been down there before. Yeah, you'd have a long way to go. That's even further than me. It's kind of a good thing we brought this up, we should figure out a place in Owatonna, a date, food arrangements, etc. 1313, put some options up and we can start this thing.

OK, here's a group of dates that could be possible, if it doesn't work for you, nix it.
June: 28-30 (about it for that month, for our clan)
July: Anytime (we are all open that month)
August: 10-31 (first week is a canoe trip in the BWCA)
Sept: None, we start school on the 1st, dammit...

Basically open with the exception of 2 weeks, if you guys want to select some specifics, post them for consideration.

I just joined the Quilted Northerns site. We can discuss further there if you like.

Well, after discussing this with the QN we have decided to do it sometime in july, any time all month except not the 16-23. Whatever works best for you! :)

Hey guys, I'd be available (and would bring some friends) any time other than June 23-June 27th. I'll be in New York during that period. Keep me posted!

Hmmm well I'm not sure what an actual nerf battle is, but I could get a couple people to join in possibly, we're out of St Paul so Owatonna isnt to far away...plus I won the Owatonna open wrestling tourny there during the spring (if any of you wrestle) but yeah, me and my buddy pretty much have only used nerf guns for this game called assassin, or a version of it that we made up which is pretty much like a gang war, and its pretty sweet

well if somebody is tryin to explain the rules of a nerf battle to me real quick i might could bring the crew down
