Today, a few buddies and I made the excursion to our local TRU and found what we expected to find, and one little morsel more. Has anyone heard of the AirZone Crossbow? We looked at it at first and thought "what a crock", but we took a closer look at one partially removed from the package. At first it looks like a joke, but after review, we found that this thing might have potential. It has a fairly large plunger, and it has a lot of air-power when fired. The thing shoots arrows, but modding for micros looks like a cinch. After removing the bow part, this thing could make an interesting boomstick. Has anyone picked one up, and what do you think of it?

I got one a few weeks ago. I chopped off the air restrictor on the end of the barrel and shoved a Crayola down there. It gets about 50' flat for me. It could have been done better with some brass, copper, etc. but I was short on materials. I don't use it much, since it's a single shot gun. It's decent and the ROF is okay for a pretty good micro shooter. I kept the bow parts on mine, but lost the strings. I use those circle-shaped holes on the bow arms as ammo holders. The ones on the outside fit 1/2" Stefans beautifully. I'd recommend buying it for $10.00 if you're into Blast Bazooka-esque guns.
