Arcing a Mav might get 40', and when he says modified, maybe he means all the stuff like nf plunger mod, barrel mod (duh), and barrel seal mod.

Yeah, but still, he should measure his distances flat, not angled. And anyone who believes him about his ranges probably isn't going to be doing an NF plunger mod. Not that I can, but I at least know a Mav won't get 40 feet flat.

No it's not, Viper lives in Michigan and this seller is from Indiana. So dont jump to conclusions. But yes this guy is stupid and someone should slap him and give them a piece of their mind. But what can you do, there are alot more ebay sellers out there that lie to make the gun sound better or "rare". I think we all know what a good gun is and isn't and what respectable ranges are for guns. So just let some little noob buy it and get ripped off, because surely none of us are goin to fall for that. But to clear things up I believe the highest range i've seen for a maverick is 63' flat. But that was with a plunger mod( a lock'n load) and it was performed by an experienced modder( BoltmasterZero). Good day now....

Who actually gives a shit what the guy says about the range? I mean, it's mildly amusing but seriously, ebay is a caveat emptor kind of deal. Anyone who buys a current model nerf gun on ebay is a moron anyhow.

Actually, I did some checking and it is Viper, or at least it's his eBay account. He had a thread a few months back where he was posting links to his eBay auctions and if you look it's the same exact person who is selling the Maverick.
