I just found two packs of nerf balls at Walmart so I picked them up. I was thinking of making a ball launcher like an M203 to shoot balls. I'm going to use an at2000 and put a barrel on it to fire balls, but I can't find a barrel that fits the balls. I don't think pvc has a size that fits balls. I have tried wrapping paper rolls but their the wrong size. Did anyone find a barrel for balls. I searched and couldn't find anything.

3/4" PVC fits reusable paintballs. I use 1" PVC for delivering my balls into my thunderstrike 20.

find a pipe with an inner diameter of 1.75" I've measured them. although, I don't have any idea what size pipe to use.

I have searched around my house for barrels. I found a wrapping paper roll thats almost perfect but its new so I can't use it. The tubes that have a nozzle that caulk comes in would work but its full so i can't use it. I tried rolling up a peice of thick paper but it didn't work.

Its either 1 or 2" pvc that works with green nerf balls I am certain. Just bring a nerf ball to homedepot and see what fits.

I'm going to home depot this week. I will take a ball and try it in the pvc. Also 1'' pvc will not work because the balls are 1.75''.

take a 1" OD pool noodle and cut down middle. hollow a spot out for a ball in the center of each side. place ball in, stock peices of foam together, stick in 1" barrel, and vioala, a sabot.

How would 1.75" Nerf balls fit in 1''pool noodles? I'm going to home depot tommorow to look for the right size pvc.

It's a sabot, meaning it acts as a casing for the ball and you put the sabot in the barrel. If you've ever watched mythbusters then you know what one is. I also dont think its spelled sabot, but i could be wrong. It just acts as a good seal for the ball and improved accuracy.
