When you PPK modify your nite finder you have a big hole in the front. I cut a piece of cardboard and taped it on, to cover the hole. I know people use bondo but they say its really hard. I was thinking of filling it with playdoh and then painting. Would this work? What did you use to fill the hole in your nf.

How much experience do you have from messing with play-doh ? Play doh cracks and shrinks and dries up all crusty with little crystals.

Just learn to use bondo, its not that hard. practice filling and sanding on some scraps until you have it right.

If you dare, you could try fiberglass.

Model Magic. It's paintable, easy to use, and it comes in purrty colors! Yay! If you roll it up in your hands until it becomes warm, it is easier to work with.

I just went to kmart and Walmart and I couldn't find Model Magic. They didn't have the new Buzz Bee Gun at kmart either, but at Walmart I found two packs of nerf balls. The Walmart I went to never has any nerf guns.

you could also use homemade play-doe. It doesn't crack nearly as much as the store bought stuff does, and it dries faster. just take two parts flour, mix it with one part salt, add water, and knead. continue adding water until it's the consistency you want.

you could also just fill it all with hot glue. that's what I usually resort to for filling such gaps.
