So you start with your basic brass barrel size (for me 9/16"), than attatch smaller and smaller length pieces of tighter brass, right until the stefan cant squeeze in anymore.(is this how u make one?)
So this is where i am confused, does the tighter end go at the front or back of the barrel, and how many different tighter pieces of brass should u use. I need everyones help with this. Thanks!! ;)

The back. Generally just one size change.

For my Max Shot mod I used 8" of 9/16" and 2" of 17/32".

The smaller piece at the back holds the dart tightly until the pressure builds up sufficiently. Experiment with different lengths on both pieces to find the optimal configuration for each gun.

Don't bother with this on pump guns.

Actually, I would make telescopic barrels for pump guns such as the AT2000, it increases the range by allot, but the effect isn’t quite as great for a super soaker, which has a longer release.

You've tested with non-telescoped barrels of the same length? What are your before and after numbers?

Very odd because the pressure release on pump guns is nearly instantaneous.

Edit: Perhaps your main barrel segment is too lose for your darts? In that case I would expect these results.
