A few days back I started a serious dialogue with Buzz Bee customer service rep, Carol Fox. She is not a technical adviser or a designer of the guns, she just knows what I think most of us wanted to know. This is the latest e-mail I have received from her:

Hi Matt,
As of right now, only Kmart is carrying the Double Shot Dart Blaster. The
Rapid Fire Rifle is a new item & won't be available until Fall 2005. If any
of your friends have questions, they can reach me through the email & I will
try to help them. You can find our items in most of the large retailers
(Toys R Us, Kmart, Walmart, K-B Toys, etc. but not in Target). If I can be
of any more assistance, please feel free to contact me.

So look for the guns at the major chains. The Double Shot is a K-Mart exclusive currently, but more of the line should be on the way to major retailers as we get closer to Fall 2005. That's all I have for now.

She's been very helpful thus far and I hold out some serious hope for the new Buzz-Bee line.

I <3 you. Too bad we gotta wait for the rifle. Atleast we know it is coming out. So the double-shot is a K-mart exclusive? Mine is all out and I only bought two. Also, can you ask her about when the shell refill pack come out.

what sucks even more is that the k mart I had around here closed a couple months ago. Why don't these companies sell their stuff online directly?

I have asked that question and was told that it might be possible in the future. If the demand becomes substantial, don't be surprised if you are able to buy the guns online soon. Seems like they didn't think of that option before... but my suggestion was well received.
