Hey, I just picked up a Maverick and am starting to mod it. I have opened up the gun and taken the cylinder out. I can't seem to get the cylinder apart though. I have taken all the screws out of it but I still cant pull it apart. Any help at all?

First you have to take the six screws out of it (3 on each end). Now what's holding it together is a metal rod in the middle. I found an effective way was to put the barrel system vertically with the dart end of the barrels facing down. I put the barrels down on 2 blocks of wood that are just a ways apart, put the middle of the cylinder over the space between your blocks. Then take something skinny like a screwdriver and put it right on the metal rod, you can see it from the top it's inside the little orange piece in the middle. Then just pound it in a little bit and it will make it much easier to pull apart. Be careful, those springs may go flying. Hope this helps if not say so.

You have to pull VERY VERY hard, just make sure you hjave something to catch the springs when they come poppin out. And do it in a small room so if it does blow everything everywhere it's easyier to find.

Good luck...You'll need it... ^_^

If you move the parts a bit, you can get a thinner pair of pliars inbetween the plastic bits. Grip the metal bar with the pliars and put it on the floor. Stand on the pliars and pull up on the revolver. It should come apart. Thats what I did anyways. That sucker is held together REALLY tightly.
