Finally the best shell ever is getting the TLC that it has always deserved. It is the most comfortable shell and it fits a 2.25" plunger tube perfectly with 5" of draw.

It shoots as far as Ryan's plusbow. Shoots through cardboard with slugs but not with AMIORS or silicone domes.

Ladies and Gents, I give you the OH SNAPbow. Could be a bit cleaner, but I was hurrying to get it done by HAMNO 2.2 on Saturday.

So this is my latest "just for fun" homemade rifle. Its a one shot gun that gets 100+ feet, as I said just for fun and a secondary is needed with this one. I can do a more detailed description later if anyone wants, just ask me. It is 43 and 1/2 inches long with a k18 spring. And yes, it leaves welts. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Found some magical 1.5"x1.33" nylon tube, which fits inside 1.75"x1.5" polycarb tube, allowing me to snugly convert 1" PVC OD (1.315") to 1.5" SDR 35 PVC ID (~1.74").

Priming action now super smooth from the pump grip part — just need to redo the catch plate now

I brought some PakD clips from Singapore. Andtheherois and I made some homemades for them.

Top: my clip blaster prototype 00

Bottom: Andtherherois' I'm too fucking tired to give it a name blaster.

Video of Hoongfu testing it out.

Currently has an intentionally short barrel 4" cpvc barrel for use at Gridcode and is hitting 75' every time. Can probably get the ~100' mark with a proper barrel for more typical nerf wars. Very critical improvements to come include adding a mechanism that will allow me to move the trigger and grip closer to the magwell as well as a proper stock.

Don't use Bondo for a SNAP catch ramp. It's too soft to work. Epoxy putty is much harder.

Finished mine and made it look pretty. Named FAL-CON. FAL(3)(the main component)- Clip Optimized Nerfing (The idea that clips are actually viable in NA wars).

Zorn's FAL 2 became my FAL 2. The plunger tube exploded so I had to fix that and reinforce the priming handle.

...and now it lights up!

I replaced the 90 degree elbow with a T and added LED's that light up the barrel, hopper and plunger tube. My iPhone can't do this justice. It's sooooo Tacti-Too-Cool in real life. Multi-Orgasmic!!!

This stuff is amazing. It lets you take a bunch of does-not-fit tubes and makes them into slides-super-well tubes.

Further experimentation with my short AAbow and tagger hopper have led to this development.
Posted Image
Since normal SCH 40 doesn't work as the dart storage area, I originally had to use thinwall PVC or 3/4 CPVC, but I got tired of not being able to see the darts. The clear pipe on there now is a 7/8" OD, 3/4" ID polycarbonate tube from McMaster. It needed to be sanded at both ends before it would fit though. I also originally tried using a ball valve with this assembly, but darts kept getting sucked back into the plunger tube, so that black thing at the tip of the hopper is a dart door. And it even works... somehow.
