Dude, I can't even throw an SSPB 85'. It does look sweet though, so I'll gove you credit for that. I just think your ranges are off by 20-30', unless ur firing angled up, with the wind, and from a moving vehicle.

Although I'm not a very big fan of NF + whatever integrations, I couldn't help but notice how clean your mod was...

Most trusted and respectable people that like to post ranges of their mods do a few things in common.

Range test at a flat angle.
Use a standard and reliable system for measurement.
Repeat the above two steps several times and take the average.

During a war, you never really arc your gun to fire. At least I hope you don't, so it's no use taking a distance with an angle. Plus, we all know that for the most part you are gaining a better distance provided the angle is at or under 45 degrees.

Try that system, and get back to us. I'd be interested to see what you get. I'd agree with what OMC said, your distances are off a good 20 feet judging by the angle.

That's what I thought once upon a time, but you're actually incorrect about that, Shindig.

But for range testing, you're most definitely correct on that.

Thanks for admitting (unlike most people) that you angled the shots. See? Credibility level rises.

No thanks needed....I'm new to nerf mods, so that makes me new to testing standards too. I'll conduct new measurements using status quo "accepted" standards and post 'em when I get a chance. Although I believe my modified nite finder would surprise you. It's the beta model of my new super secret graduated cone plunger and cone end cap..... Also, has anyone ever toyed with the idea of using an sspb to add to the pressure of a plunger gun? I'm thinking along the lines of simultaneous triggering of the gun's plunger and the sspb's air tank into the barrel. Though this may require a longer barrel and breech loading, I think it may make for a deadly accurate and powerful loser type sidearm. Any thoughts?

The nite finder is already accurate and powerful. You might be able to put them together but it would be very hard. When you reload you would have to pull back the plunger and pump twenty times while your getting shot at.

AA keep in mind that I still Nerf like a stock player. I do it out of force of habit. Most people on this site didn't have 5+ years playing with nothing but stock guns and dollar store dart guns. At the same time I use weak guns as well. The 2k I don't angle that often.

Very nice. I've actually been looking for a good way to put an SSPB into an NF. I was trying to put it into the handle and conceal it though, like a Secret Shot 1, sort of. I'll have to try that.
