Getting a variety of guns when playing teams is really important, so when I go to wars, I usually bring one of each type gun. On a team, there should be 1or2 heavy distance rifles, like a titan or some crazy/200footer homemade, scouters with at3k or at2k, and head on assault men with rf20 and (my favorite)splitfire.

A Brassed Splitfire is pretty much all I carry.

I enjoy the mobility associated with such a light load, lets me do a wide variety of things. I think most DCNO participants can vouch for that. I mean, the gun is just a solid, reliable gun. I've tried akimbo, but that just slows down my reload time and that's not my style. I'm also working on a chest harness for my SSII (which sadly keeps breaking) so we'll see how that goes.

I'm still working on integrating my SF into my Crossbow which is proving to be most difficult. The main issue being how it's going to affect the playstyle I'm used to with my SF, so the finished product needs to be compact, bullpup style. That, and I'm just a little hesitant to put it under the dremel again...

I thought you already have a crossbow with a splitfire integrated into it or that is the same one, I remember that still from Armageddon 2003 or something.

I've gone with a RF20 and a WF20 before. Also have tried using my storm2000 with a TT side, or my imaginary powerclip.

If I ever purchase an arrowstorm that'l probably be my main weapon, with perhaps a nice brassed 750 as a sidearm, but with an a-storm you dont really need one.

(p.s., A bit off topic, but if you guys are that interested in AT3K's, I have a stock one i've never even used I'd be willing to sell.I opened it up but didnt do anything to it, and i'd just have to reassemble it)

CX, Kuhlshranks 3k is single barreled. A bastard child created by OMC, sold to me, then borrowed by Shrank many times untill I eventually just sold it to him. I've now been shot in the neck and the nuts with that damn thing. Seeing as we almost all use PVC on our guns, yeah the 3k shoots better then the Maxshot.

The two guns I'd really like to have are a solid 1500, I've never had one that worked and a well done 3k. I just can't seem to find brass anymore. Honestly I'm not looking that hard and it seems like the community is all sold out of petg. Oh well, maybe I'll have to buy the next round of it and see if I can make some cash off of it.

Yes, please do that. I'm sure you would be able to be in the black pretty easily with member like me wanting PETG so much.

My combo is an AT3K with an NF until I get my integated crossbow up and running. Pretty standard.

I unfortunately had to retire that because one of the SF barrels was leaking, and I was having some trouble with the main barrel. I've got a brand new Crossbow, and a NIB one, and 2 new SF's so we'll see how that goes.

My favorite combination of guns, that I use almost every round, is the Max Shot and NiteFinder. You've got serious range and accuracy with the Max Shot and a reliable and accurate NiteFinder that doesn't have the same "lob shot" flaws of the Lock N Load. In other words, a NiteFinder for the most part hits a target dead on (the velocity is pretty respectable) while a LnL tends to arch drastically.

If I don't have the time to compensate for arch and I need to just get off a shot, I'd rather have the NF than the "classic" LnL.

What I take depends on many factors, to list a few.
-objective: if I'm playing a ctf my CrossBow and NiteFinder would be my weapon of choice. If I'm playing a free for all where agressivness(sp) is rewared then I might dig my 1.5k and Nf
-Location: Well my Xbow 0wns out side, in my basment my rf20 would be a much better choice -- the range of the Xbow is wasted in side.
-Who I'm facing and what there armed with: If one of my friends likes to bring the fight into my face and I see that he is planning to use a pc, a extra side would be in order.
-Mood: Cause somtimes duel nfs are better than sex.

Personally I'm an old school kind of guy. I like to use a CPVC modded at2k. It's a standard quad barrel mod with some dowel inbetween the barrels. I wrapped the barrels in black electrical tape and there ya go. I use that in all situations, because it has good accuracy, good range, and good ROF.

How about a Sneakshot and an Eagle Eye for old school? Anyway, that's only if I'm really desperate.

Yeah, AA's right, we have a kid like that. Once he dropped all the crap, he actually got a few shots off.

PS. You're not Boba Fett, you don't need all that crap.

You have a crossbow and you leave it slung to your back? If you're gonna go and buy one before jacking up the price for everyone else, you could've at least gotten some use out of the damn thing.

I almost always use my copper barreled SuperMaxx 3000 blue with a nice strap to sling it over my shoulder or to drop gently and go for either the AirTech2000s or Nite Finders or tri-barrel modded Secret Shots from side holsters if I want to fight with two weapons. I used to mix things up more, but that's pretty much my standard, primarily because I get all the joys of a rapid fire (my SM3k magically, strangely is fully primed after a single pump) with none of the loss in accuracy that a powerclip or rapid 20 bring to the game.

Hey, how's the sm3k? I've always debated getting one or not, as I've heard from some people that it's terrible, but others say I'm flat wrong.

AA

P.S. Really off topic, but this Halo soundtrack (thanks to ompa) is really KICKASS.

Really, so you like the 3k blue? Ive heard mixed reviews about them, and only recently almost bought one, but decided not to at the last second. Its alright, though, I saved my money and bought an arrowstorm!
