HELLO !!

im new here, so first i like to introduce myself:
my name is Simon and im from germany. i love nerf guns and i ever
wished to have one. that was like 15 years ago... (is that possible ? cuz
i dont know when they first came up) but they were unreachable for me
(too expensive, parents etc.). then i forgot about them for years. yesterday
something happened: it was a cold, wet and snowy day. my girlfiried needed
some office stuff, so i decided to drive to the local walmart store. i went
through all the products and i discovered a cheap kind of foam gun. it costed
only 2 euro (about 3$) and i bought it ! at home i had a loooooooooot of fun
with that thing. but its small and inaccurate. but i remembered the past !!
and i remembered nerf !! i searched via google, yahoo and whatever but
no chance: no nerf guns seem to be sold in europe !!! they are not longer
available in europe. they only have that "vortex"-throw thing ?!?!
so i searched in ebay.com and i found them ! GREAT !!! today, money is not
longer a problem, parents either and i know: I MUST HAVE THOSE GUNS !!!!
i foung auctions about the air tech 3000 and the new maverick... furthermore
i read a lot of forum threads here. then i decided to register.
of couse i would like to profit from your infinite wisdom:
what gun would u suggest me ? the maverick or the air tech 3000 ?
maybe u know a good deal for beginners or even a good review site.
(i know, questions like those are asked like a million times and im sorry.
just dont answer if it makes you upset :( )
but here comes the master-question:
do you know any store in europe or a store which is shipping to europe ?
I NEEEEEEED THOSE GUNS SO DAMN URGENT !!!!! :P

ok now you know who i am.....
and please: forgive my spelling and grammar errors, im not a native speaker
i hope my small knowlegde is good enough for my masters :(

may your wisdom shine upon my head !!! thanks !!

If you're going to buy guns (on eBay or otherwise) the suggestions will be qualified based on whether or not you will be modifying them.

The Nite Finder is an amazingly fun gun right out of the box and is currently very available in the US.

The Air Tech 2000 and 3000 are also both available right now, but are more fun if you intend to modify them. Once the barrels are replaced and the release valves plugged, they are monsters.

I think your best bet will be contacting the seller in eBay auctions and asking them if they can ship to you overseas. A lot of sellers are willing to do it if you ask. Worst case scenario, do a reverse auction on the trading forums here - take some time to look at guns online and decide what you want and then post a thread where people can bid on shipping you those guns to Germany. Just make sure if you do this that the guns are relatively common so you're assured a competitive price.

Welcome to NH!

thanks for your answer cxwg...
and thanks for being welcomed :P
i read threads in other forums and often they were very
rude to new members. so i decided to join this board :(

and yes, in future i plan to modify them...!

Willkommen! I won't pretend try to type in German even though I am pretty good at it. However, it's always fun to get guys from other countries to join. We had one or two from Great Britain, and a we've got a slew from Austrailia.

CX has basically given you all the advice you need, but I'm sure others will jump at the chance to help you. In the mean time, enjoy your stay.

Don't take finding this place lightly, and I say this merely to use one of the German sayings I know.

@chessler:

@talio

...nice saying, talio !!!! ;)

From the two guns you listed, the AT3000 and the Maverick. I recommend the Mav, it's much more fun out of the box in my opinion.

Ah, you'll get the hang of it eventually. Welcome.

If you plan on modifying it to put on da hurt- AT3000
For plain ol' fun and games- get the Maverick. Just don't open it up. The little orange piece may get you to cry once you understand more about nerf.

Welcome to the forums! sorry I don't speak your native language, and I was too lazy to go online and find a translater and just copy and paste, but we can do that in the future. lol, have fun! and cxwq is right, go with the NightFinder, it's a pretty decent gun if you ask me.

Also 18 Euro.

Ja! Wir haben ein Nerf Haven Deutcher!

Forgive me, my German hasn't been used in a year or so.

Glad to have you here and I hope you enjoy it. It's nice to see international members on these forums considering how relatively small this community is.

Welcome to the party, I was in Evil's class so my German probably would sound like a 3-year-old.
Hoffentlich, du willst dieser Platz gern haben.

Dang..the only German words I would know come from my studies in history, which include:
"Heil", "Achtung," "Auschwitz," and "Grossdeutsche/kleindeutsche." Hmm...doesn't have much to do with Nerfing though...

Well, have fun exploring the site.
