I need some help on some at2k's. My clan just bought some new ones and they are leaking air already. after I pump them 4 times they leak, can I have some help on this? Please make your replies ergent as to it is wednesday and I have a war planned for saturday.

Well why dont you try to find the leak by putting the gun under water, when you finds it just cover the leak with epoxy. Or you could just return them for some new ones.

If you pump them 3 times, does it leak? Just put it underwater and look for bubbles, as 1313 says. However, if you're just pumping and no air is going in at all, then try plugging the release valve, or you have a faulty check valve (you're pretty much screwed). If you're pumping 4 times, then no air seems to go in anymore, then plug the release valve. You need to be more specific with your problem- pumping something 4 times then having it start to leak doesn't really make sense to me. It means there's a quasi-seal that all of a sudden blows, which is definately unusual.

Lastly, try lubricating the firing pin, for the o-ring inside the chamber may be warped. If this is the case, and lubrication doesn't work, you're going to have to cut open the chamber, replace the o-ring, and glue the whole thing back together.

I think that the faine's "leak" might just be him hearing the overpressure release valve kicking in.

I have heard that as well, when you pump really fast four times, you here it sort of pop, then leak. Thats what all mine did, untill I plugged up the valve. And I have 4 of them.

Where exactly is the overpressure release valve located in the pump?

Take the handle of the pump (when the gun is disassembled) and pull it all the way out. Then look at the end, there should be a little hole. That's it.

Take note, that the thing about the at2k is that when you plug the valve, if you look inside the pump shaft, you will see a bit of plastic poking out at the way end. This constantly agitates the hot glue or whatever you put in the overpressure release valve, so make sure you have a very solid glue job for that. If your job wasn't great, it's possible that it was knocked around somehow and air is once again escaping. You can also put duct tape around the other holes.
