CPVC coupler modded, I simply took a dremel to one side of the coupler until it fit over the original barrel. I cut the original down to 1.5". Profuse amounts of hot glue, a little electrical tape, and it works great. 12" barrel. I can dent a tin can, and I sniped the "O" off the Boggle box. <_<

That looks pretty good, what are the ranges? And is the barrel very stable for you?

Thats pretty sweet. What are the ranges? Did you plug the pump? I think for mine i will cut the original barrel down to about 2 inches, put whatever brass size fits in there, telescope with the next size brass, and cover it in PVC for protection. I also think i might cut off the extra shell on the front of the gun. Does this make it look better or worse?

Ranges, I'm not sure. The snow is too high...
Pump is not plugged after all. I also cut out a breech for ease of loading: Shaky hand  :

And, proof of tin can:

The barrel is pretty stable, but I would reccomend that you make sure that the coupler is on straight so the barrel doesn't go on crooked.

nice.real nice. I just bought another one about two weeks ago and I think Ill do what southpaw said to it. (thanks for the idea, south, though I might forget the second layer of brass, too much of that stuff has a tendency to make it front heavy.)If it made that in a tin can it should turn out to be a good loser weapon. Im guessing 100-110 feet, but I cant wait to hear the real distances.

I was wondering where everybody buys their Lanard brand guns. I haven't had any luck finding them as of yet.

Well, I was at walmart yesterday and when I went to the nerf section, they had some first shots. I looked for max shots but they didn't have any. Also, I found this weird Lanard gun. It had a rocket similiar to a titan missle, but the gun was basically a long extendable stick that is hand-powered. It was only $3 but I didn't buy it because it didn't seem to have much potential.

I have also heard of people getting Lanard guns at TRU. Mine does have blast bazookas, but my neighbor bought one and it sucked, so I'm not sure if I want to buy one.

That is insane power. My friend brass modded his splitfire and it went through bristle board at around 15-20', but a pop can THAT IS WAY TOO NUTS.

First Shots have been known to pop up around my Wal-Mart every now and then. My K-Mart has several Lanard brand guns, but nothing really worth investing in.

My main supplier is TRU, which has a healthy stock of both Nerf and Lanard. They will be closing shortly though. And I have yet to find a Maxshot...

As for the mod, smooth work. My only concern with it would be barrel stability because CPVC's pretty weak as it is. I would do much the same as TheHaze and place a makeshift brace in the front. Aside from that, it looks magnificent.

EDIT: Wow, yeah I didn't even see how easily this jumped.

Today I bought a LBB at K-Mart, they had a lot of other Lenard guns, same with the TRU across the street. I am going to either CPVC or Brass mod it. BTW, they are great guns with LOTS of power.

I can't help but laugh at how comfortably this thread jumped a year. The lbb is a helluva gun for less than $15 usd; and before I got a bbb, I was about to clip mod this one. Just adding about 1.5 of brass works just as well as I don't use the lbb too much, but it is incredibly powerful especially by the dollar.

Just a question, what sized brass would you use for this?

For a pump gun like the LBB, you want to use brass with a looser fit to your darts. For my micro Stefans, 9/16 works fine, but whatever works for your darts.

Switch to micro stefans. Otherwise, you could try carefuly opening up the pump and plugging the release valve.

Ya another question for the LBB, Does anyone else have trouble keeping that handle on? Mine popped off so I took that black extending grip part of the EAB and use that, It works great.

you plug the valve by taking the pump out and puting hotglue on the little hole by doing this you can get higher pressure but you can blow up your tank. lopious i have a question for you, did yours really go thourgh a pop can?
