Dbf #21 : The Troll Saga - Finale

I know this comes as a somewhat late surprise, but this will be the last DbF for a while. College, family, work - it's all quite time consuming. I've decided to put DbF in cryogenic stasis for the time being until I decide what I want to do with it (and more importantly, until I can give it the time it deserves). I would rather pump out strips in relative succession than drawing them out over time, and right now I can't do that.
So, does that mean you'll be seeing less of me? No. I'm still Nerfing, I'm still going strong. I'm still here, I'm still hanging around...you just won't see a DbF in a while. And for those of you caught in the ice floe that is winter Nerfing (in most areas, nonetheless)...hang in there, Spring is just around the corner.
But, yeah - the strip. Twelve frames, all hand drawn and retraced up for your viewing pleasure.
Hope you all enjoy.

Anywho, I thought I'd give you what you requested at the end of your strip: feedback. As always, I think the strip rocked. I like the different drawing style, and just the concept of a "unified energy complex" is funny; to see it actually used made it even funnier, esp. with the psuedo-drama going on. I still love the strip before it though, "...it's already started..." So yeah.
Good luck with everything Groove, I'll see ya around.
P.S. - I will, in fact, one day, get a Tau 40K army going...

Thanks to everyone else for the kind words, and all your feedback. I'm glad you all dug the style and caught on to the mocking sense of drama. As cerealkiller, WEASEL and THIRST inadvertantly pointed out already, I am studying to become a professional artist at VCU School of the Arts here in Richmond. Looking to major in Illustration / Visual Studies (ironic, isn't it?). I'm also glad there's a general consensus on the whole consistency with the time overlay in between strips.
Some people have asked when I plan to pick up the reins again, and quite frankly, I don't know yet. I wish I could give you all a rough time table but I honestly have no idea. Since I go to an Art School, my work load is much different than most other people's. I am basically creating art twenty-four / seven. Well, I don't have classes on Fridays, so it's more like twenty-four / four + much time on the weekends. What happens is by the time I'm done with it all, I'm exhausted, and DbF gets pushed out of the picture. It's a vicious cycle.
But, anyhow ~ I appreciate your comments, and thanks for reading.

I liked the strip overall, and I like the new art style. It looks way cooler. I felt it neccessary, however, to point out the line being pulled right out of an ATHF episode simply because of the context. If the show was a serious show and you used a line from it out of context for the purpose of humor, I wouldn't have said anything. Actually, I probably would have pointed out the reference and laughed. However, this show was already using the line for comedic value and in a very similair situation, so it seemed more like a rip-off than anything else. There, now that's cleared up.
Sorry again for sounding like a cock. Thank you very much for the strip and thank you for putting time into making us losers at the Nerf Forum chuckle. I appreciate it as I'm sure everyone else here does as well.
