Alright, so here is the deal: I'm a college student who is seriously down on money right now, and in my searches found product testing sites where they say I can get a Playstation 2 for free, or a laptop for free, or pocket tv or gameboy or something for free. I've gotten ads for these before, but always chose to just ignore them.
What I'm wondering is are these things legit? Like, will I actually get whatever they say I'm going to get for free? If you all have any experience with these, please share.
Sorry by the way if this is common knowledge or something and I sound like an idiot, but thanks to anyone who helps.

You might want to read all of the policies and codes first. A lot of them will say stuff like you will get blah blah blah after you do blah blah blah 6 times then blah blah blah. You get the point. If you do all that stuff they usually work.

Yes, they are legit. They all require you to show that site to 3-6 of your friends, and get them to sign up and do the same as you. You also must buy 2-3 things from their sponsers...After you did all this you get it for free. Each site has their own requirements/number of freinds/things you buy...just make a fake account and go through the site like your serious about it, and youll find things. If I were you, I would buy a movie online from blockbuster, and then buy a rubber band off ebay for 2 cents...

Many are legit. One good one is the Free Photo iPod offer I'm currently trying to complete.

Actually, follow my referral link so you can sign up for your own, and help me complete mine.

The way it works is you have to complete 1 offer, then get 10 other people to do the same. Its pretty nice, since there are offers like Blockbusters free online trial. You get movies, you get credit for a completed offer, and it doesnt cost you a dime.

Anyone willing to help me knock this puppy out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, if you read the EULA on most of them, (iPod ones especially) it will basically say that they are not forced in any way to send you anything other than spam and other unwanted crap like spyware and worms.

Most that I've read seem to state that mainly incase of them not having any to give out. But the one I linked above I've spoken to two people who have completed it and recieved the 40gb iPod.
