Well I've never liked Crayola barrels but I don't know if you can do a breech mod with a Crayola barrel. I have heard of people modifying their ballzooka's to make it shoot darts, but if I where you I would just try to find brass. (Ace has it and hobby shops and actualy Big R has it ) Brass seems to work alot better for me and with all the different sizes of it the sky is basically the limit. (dependeing on what the limit is )I apologize (spell check) for posting so many new topics but I am just starting out and I am very curious. I just love the concept of marker barreling because it is simple and easy to obtain the materials required. Also because they shoot micros, or even better stefan micros. I know they can transform guns that shoot megas. But i wondered if you can modify guns that shoot balls or missels with crayola barrels so the ammo is more reallistic. For instance, could you use a crayola and pvc breech mod on a Titan to make it shoot micros? Could you modify a Ballzooka with crayola barrels to shoot multiple micros? Are there virtually no limits? Thank you for your help.

If you use markers, you will want to overlap each marker with pvc. The markers themselves will not have great accuracy unless you add the pvc to stabilize the dart.

First be sure the dart fits in the marker well. Obviously, as with any other barrel material you need a good fit. Also be sure the marker doesnt have any obtrusions inside it. Some markers have ridges that you will need to cut out.
Second be sure the barrel is sealed well with the marker. I wrap the base of mine in electrical tape, then if needed wrap the rest of it in duct tape. The electrical tape is smooth and makes a good seal, and the duct tape afterwards will help to keep the marker straight in the barrel.

Ballguns usually dont release air fast enough to fire darts well.If you crayola barrel basically anything but a pistol, you need to add 1/2'' pvc over it. I thought all you guys new that. That helps the accuracy on higher power guns that need longer barrels. But my point was can you make ball shooting guns shoot stefans with a crayola barrel? Can you make high-powered missle shooting guns shoot stefans with a crayola barrel?
As for a larger missile type gun, I would imagine the original barrel would be far too large to use a crayola in. You would have to bridge quite a gap to seal it.

Not only are crayola barrels the right size for our darts, but they also fit inside pvc for added accuracy.
As for using crayola barrels in a missile launcher, you will need to glue the crayola barrel onto the air nozzle. Load a dart, and slide a 12-16" section of pvc over the barrel. That is the easiest way to breech load a crayola on a strong shooter.
For ball guns, crayolas don't usually work. Some ball guns use physical impact to launch the ball (Motorized ballzooka, Cyclotron), while others don't produce enough compressed air quickly (Ballzooka, Pulsator).
