Take a piece of wood like a foot or so ling and an inch or 2 wide. Put 2 nails in each side right by the edge, then tie 2 rubber bands together and slide it over each nail so it streaches nearly the whole length of the wood. to make the darts( this might sound a little wierd) put a straw in the hole of the dart until it touches the top of the dart and your done, put the end of the straw on the knot of the rubber bands, pullback all the way and release, this is very cheap, yet suprisingly powerful. It works really good for me.

Why put a straw in it? You could just hollow the dart out and then put ilittle more weight then normal.

The straw is so if you have a long and narrow board you can use the darts like arrows. Try it, I am amazed how powerful this is. Plus when your done, just pull the straw out of the dart.

I see what you are talking about but you should do tests to see which one goes farther, the dart with a straw or the one without.

The darts with the straw do go a litle bit farther, it seems like the straw acts as a fin and darts with straws are usually more accurate for me.

Awesome. I used to make stuff like that using rubber bands and a cardboard tube, but I shot pens and pencils. How long of a range does yours have?

I have that same question. It doesn't sound like it would shoot that far, although it is probably because I suck at these kind of things.

Don't worry about the things you don't know. Do sheep expand in the rain? Who discovered how to get milk from cows? And what was he doing in the first place?

So, it's like a Nerf dart slingshot?

Yes, its kind of like a dart sling shot, but it is MUCH better than a real nerf slingshot. I am unable to range test it, but I can tell that it shoots all the way across a 50' basement with some force.
