I'm trying to get an estimate of how many nerfers there are in the bay area to see if a war would be probable in the near future.

Don't worry about the things you don't know. Do sheep expand in the rain? Who discovered how to get milk from cows? And what was he doing in the first place?

What area do you live in? Maybe we could get a war going.

Just FYI, we like caps and punctuation around here. Read the pinned thread in site feedback as well as the Code of Conduct linked at the top of each page.

I live in martinez, which is really close to Concord. Id be willing to try to set up a war in the area. Im also looking for people to do some playtesting for a nerf-based game I'm making.

If you did setup a war where do you think it would be?

I dunno. I would have to discuss that with the other Bay Areans. If it was up to me, I would have it at one of my local parks, but that would be far for some people to get to.

The upper level of Cordnicis might be a good spot to have a war.Lots of trees. How about La loma park?

I think what we need to do, is find a fixed point, and see how far everyone is from there, or at least post more specifically where we are.

I'm in Martinez, which is in Contra Costa county. I'm about 45 minutes north of San Jose, an hour south of Sacremento, and an hour east of San Francisco. I dont drive, so anything farther than a 45 mile radius from my house is out of the question, for me at least.

"I dont drive".Maybe you could take a bus and we might be able to meet up at a theater in Concord.

The 'Quote' button is your friend.

I was responding to your offer to meet me offline. I refuse to meetup with less than 3 or 4 other people, and beleive it or not, Concord isnt the center of the universe. Sure its close to you, Hurley, and I, but i would like to see where other people can get to before dates are set.

Im guessing if you wanted to get to the Concord Area it would take about 45 minutes, because you have to drive around San Pablo bay. Thats about how long it takes us to get to Point Reyes. Thats the frustrating thing about being in the bay area, it takes you a while to get places, because you have to drive around bays and mountains.

Thanks for the map parapsyco :) .I think we should decide on an area in the sorta in the middle the towns and after we do that post a war and see how many people show up.
