Ever wonder if nerf could develop a blaster that resembles the modern semi-automatic pistol used in the world today? Think about it... I currently own a very decent Nite-Finder. It shoots pretty well. But it takes a while to reload, especially if you're in a damn war or something. Using clips or magazines or something, Nerf wars could be more fun- not having to take an extra 6 seconds to take a bullet from the holder and hastilly shoving it into the barrel. Instead, more rapid shooting and more fun. Think about it...

I thought thats why they made guns like the powerclip, wildfire, rf20, mad hornet, razor fin, splitfire, masterblaster, ballzooka, blastfire, sm250, sm350, at1k, at2k, at3k, at4k, hell even a fastblast and an electric eel. But anyway yea uhh hmm. O well I know I shouldn't be the one to say this but, welcome to the NH forums.

Well i kinda see where riceboi is going with this. Just look at this new Maverick Rev-6 thing. Its not exactly considered a semi auto, but the way chiefthe described it, a person could shoot, auto advance to the next barrel, pull back the spring part, shoot again, Ect. Thus it could be almost as fast as a semi auto. Its proably as close as your gonna get.

yeah, I guess it is. But imagine how that could perform in Nerf wars... no reloading, no bullcrap. Just ram a magazine into the pistol and youre good to go

A huge problem is making the proper seal with the barrel. If you can successfully accomplish that, it might be do-able. Another option is to use an unknown breech and a gravity-fed clip.

Who cares about bulk, no one ever uses their sidearms anyway. Just get a big ass fat fuck of a gun and shoot the shit outta people.

That's a good point, Lee, but like 3nerfiteers said, you wouldn't want to be carrying two RF-20s around and not be able to carry around a good powerful primary weapon, or not be able to even fit into your base. But, the RF-20 is powerful enough to be a primary, but still...

I've used the Hornet already, and to be completely honest, ITS CRAP. The scout is probably the closest nerf could get to a semi-auto. maybe a combonation of the Scout and the Powerclip could work, except the clip would be internal, as opposed to it just stickin out there...

That would be sweet if there was a Scout-like pistol out there with a clip that would go into the handle and hold about four darts and each time you cocked the gun, another dart would slide into the chamber, except it would basically be just a smaller Electric Eel.

I've never used a hornet but it looks just like a blastfire which is good. I only said hornet because he probably can't find a bf anywhere.

that is EXACTLY what im talkin about! nerf should develop some kinda bad ass sidearm... the size of the Scout that could hold clips or something, with about like...4 or 5 darts in there...this is just too damn insane. Nerf really has to come up with shit like this!!!

lol believe it or not, I've noticed that most people will take the bullet out of their sidearm and stick it right in their x bow.

uhh, since 2000 I've bought EVERY nerf gun that came out, so regardless if it sucked or not I'd still buy it.

Not bad for a newbie arsenal but hmm I'd suggest, a tech target first because they are still readily available. If you can somehow find them, any of the supermaxx line of guns is good, and hmm if you're really lucky get your hands on any of the ''big 4'' overrated, but still good guns:

Arrowstorm
Big Bad Bow
Crossbow
Lock 'n Load ( you say you have one but I don't believe you )

Ok, first off, your capitilization just disappeared, bring it back.

Secondly, we are NOT Nerf's target audience. These things are for little kids, Hasbro isn't going to make attachments to these things to make them look realistic. And certainly not laser attachments. Can you say lawsuits? And kids would break the things if there were too many accessories. If you REALLY want a gun like that, just create a smaller version of Boltsniper's CO2 rifle.

And riceboi, there's no way they could make a clip-system AND make it the size of a Scout. The Scout as it is remains somewhat weak, attempting to incorporate a clip system would be, well, it wouldn't work to well, even if the cocking mechanism would be changed.

All in all, don't keep your hopes up- if you want a truely semi-auto gun, you might as well make your own.

Most forums don't care about grammar and stuff, but most nerf forums hate bad spelling and things. People like ompa the uber post whore like things neat and tidy just like most people like their vagina neat and tidy.

Well, if you don't want the respect of 90% of the members here, you can go ahead and continue to not use grammar. It's your choice.

Rice, it's really easy to make your own gun. It's also cheaper than buying a nerf gun. And in many cases, much more powerful, customizable, etc. I spent more money on my AT3k than both my homemades (sans pump, which cost me about $6, about the price of the homemade itself...) There's an entire section of the site dedicated to Homemades, and once you start one, you'd be suprised just how simple they are to make. It took me only one or two hours (sans the time needed for the glue to dry) to make my first modified Cutlass.

And Lee, I hope to dear god people would like to keep their vaginas nice and tidy, because I'd think it would be pretty disgusting if they were dirty, like growing odd plants/fungus/whatnot. Although everyone has their preferences, I think cleanliness is a priority in most of the general populace. Hence, under your definition, my need for tidyness and neatness puts me within the perameters of the general population. I don't mind being put in the category of the general population because then I would be considered normal. Which although I am not, I really don't mind being labeled as such in this case.
