Wow, thats the nicest looking homemade I've seen in a long time. Very impressive. Maybe I should make the Halo 1 Assault Rifle...

Good job ompa. With another coat of primer it will be even better.

Probably won't be a v2, mainly just little improvements on this one. However, expect a spring-loaded clip-fed loser rifle powered by CO2 in the quasi-near future.

That is one amazing gun. Very, very nice work ompa. The shotgun is the best gun from HALO, in my opinion.

Wait, I don't see the trigger in that picture. Did you try to find a better trigger or have you just taken it off?

Don't worry about the things you don't know. Do sheep expand in the rain? Who discovered how to get milk from cows? And what was he doing in the first place?

Isn't that in everyone's quasi-near future? o_<

Yeah, but I have a few prototype clip mechanisms, and a working gravity-fed one, on my table. I'm just looking for a place to buy a leaf spring (physical place) that won't give me funny looks when I try to buy it. And I have the CO2 thing planned out, I'll draw up plans in a week or 2, whenever I have time/when Winter Break starts. Whichever comes sooner. Ask Air though, I DO have plans. Although it also hinges on my parents allowing me to buy a $18 paintball gun. Damn variables. Damn precalculus.

You can get a blade at wal-mart for $16.26. Talons are almost $30. I've been brainstorming a clip mechanism myself, good luck with yours ompa.

I don't doubt you ompa. It seems like a springfed magazine, boltaction semiauto has been every Nerfer's dream for so long...sort of the Holy Grail. I have a design I've been working on too, I just can't afford the materials. Bleh.
Hope yours works out. I will be the first to congratulate you if it does. :(

I can't trade/sell/buy stuff online for the most part, but thanks for the offer. I'll just get one at my local walmart, soon as I have a clip built.

Looks awesome. Does the trigger work or is it just for decoration?

Man, I stopped playing Halo after that Flood level, primarily because I needed to buy a new pair of pants after it, (The chair went into the trash too) but man that's sexy. What'd be awesome is if you could use a CO2 cartiridge or something like that to power a blowback system to chamber a shell from a magazine. Frickin semio auto fire.....I know, not from Halo, but for a Benneli M4 Super 90? Shweet.

But, quiveling over aesthetics (and poop-laden pants) aside, frickin' shweet. Very nice job Ompa.

When you die, if you get a choice between going to regular heaven or pie heaven, choose pie heaven. It might be a trick, but if it's not, mmmmmmm, boy

** OFF TOPIC **

I've heard a lot of people bagging the crap through Doom 3. They always say it was linear and not very scary in the way that, it was scary, but was predictable. You know, it still made them jump, but just as a surprise, thats all. Same formula everytime.

Oh, shadows and darkness, i better pull out my flashlight and hit some people with it, considering it does more damage than the pistol

** ON TOPIC **

Yeah, this is a great gun, and a turning point in the droolage factor. #cookie?
