after weeks of nagging my parents to take me to bunnings i finally broke through and got parts for 2 hose handles

Posted Image
the long black thing is the pump which took me a few hours and a lot of hot glue and tape to stop it from leaking

the parts for both of them cost me $15

my second one is going to be diferent than this
because i might make it bolt action with a clip

tell me what you think of the one in the picture

Rate of Fire, as in how many shots before re-pumping it. You could probably make the tank smaller on your next one.

Search other homemades. Some people make tanks that can hold/regulate enough air for more than one shot.

Theirs one for starters. He uses the two vavle style to regulate the air. If you get a different hose nozzle, you could probably regulate your air to get two bursts of shorter range.

Mine's longer.... -_-
That looks good. I'm not sure how sturdy that pump would be in a war though.
Where do you live? Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide?
Meh.
Good work.
If you want more shots from one tank, make the tank wider. Use, say, 25mm PVC as opposed to that 15mm. You can also add a ball valve in between the tank and the trigger for the regulation. Follow that, and it should be as good as mine...was.

-TIG.

EDIT: What material is that barrel? It looks more yellow than the rest of the gun. What darts do you use in it? I use 20mm Electrical Conduit (Clipsal) for Mega stefans.

ROF=Rate of Fire, thats how many shots you can get in a certian amount fo time. The greater the ROF, the greater amount of shots you can shoot in a specified amount of time, like 1 minute.

No that's efficiency(sp?).

Nice first homemade. I'd suggest making a whole nother homemade if you want to get multiple shots, it doesn't seem like that tank will get very man long range shots.

the chamber is 20mm pvc and the barrel is 15mm

i was going to make the chamber 25mm but it was $3.60 a metre

for ammo i use stephans but these had the slighest seal and work really good cause they dont just slide out of the barrel before you shoot
i also use batteries
but not to shoot people
