Download

Note: This is only a BETA version.

Amazing...it's 3D!

Well, i thought i'd fill you guys in on it. I tried to make this as close as possible gameplay wise to GTA.

For controls and such, either click controls on the start screen or press F1 any time in-game.

I'm sorry for the music, its pretty crappy, but to make it decent it'd up the file size by about 3X.

Any questions, comments, suggestions?

It is definitly awesome for a kid's programming. The 3D is very good, the response is nice, but the controls as all on one hand, making it difficult to play. The view is nice, but when you are faceing a certian way, the controls don't change, making forward-backward, and vice-versa. Minor problems.

Very cool, and great job. I hope that this kind of work sets the stage for your career, because you'll be very good at it.

Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

Well, it is a zip, and the zip has a .exe file.

Thanks BlackWrath.

I pretty much agree with Black_Wrath, you did really well on this game. The viewing from the top kind've reminds me of the old GTA. Overall it's great, good
work.

That's pretty good work man. It did have that old-style GTA feel to it. Makes me wanna go download GTA2 and play again.

Particularly amusing moment...was chasing down this one big fat guy, and ran over about 12 people, including 3 cops, in the process. Never did catch the big fat guy...but I did get shot to death by 6 cops!

You should label the map more. Like have a Gun symbol on the biulding that sells guns , a home symbol for the home. It's really confusing. Not to mention I think 2 police HQ's were practically across frome eachother. And they all haul on your ass at once. It was like a million car march. Twas funny though.
And how come the screen gets dark at some point?
The HUD should also be labeled. Not all of it though, but some. So its more neater.
But other then that, it's rpetty fun and addicting.
Also try to make so cooler looking cars. There just boxes. ^_^

It gets dark because it has a sort of day-night thing in.
I'll add a HUD explanation in the help files eventually.
As far as graphics, i'm more or less limited to boxes.

I'm sorry man, but that shit aint cool. The original GTA all the way bitch!

Hmmmmmmmmm, i knew one of the car creators quite well. He produced some of the best cars on the scene, was like, only 15, and came from Queensland. If anyone was into the GTA modding, you might remember ole' Alfadog. He was the bomb.

When I load it and say to start new game the screen turns black for a long time and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
