What is the best mod for an arrowstorm?
the best barrel material? anything else i could do to it?

Stick 9/16 brass down the barrels. Maybe 6 inches? try www.nerfworld.com for the specific mod.

NSF, do you even have an A-storm? I think you're giving this kid bad advice.

The Arrowstorm already has ~5" barrels of approximately 5/8" diameter. That means, in addition to shooting the standard arrows, it can take homemade mega darts and Nerf micros all the way, firing very well. You'd only want about a 5" barrel on that thing anyways. Just leave it as it is unless you want to put PETG or brass in it, man. Don't listen to NSF he's talking out of his ass.

SCH40 PVC doesn't work at all with micro stefans.

Nested brass is ideal, CPVC, PETG or non-nested brass would all be pretty good, given that you pick the one that fits your FBR just tight enough that you have some resistance when you blow your dart through it.

All of the materials work. I don't think nerf special forces is talking out of his ass at all ,beng as PVC is very common whereas brass and PETG are somewhat rarer. Why not PVC? Crayola barrels work great for me, PVC works very well if you get sch80.

Because the stock barrels are the same diameter as pvc, there's no point to replace them with sch40 pvc.

Hey cx, just curious, why does nested brass work better than brass?

-A nested barrel usually works well in spring guns, mainly due to the fact that most spring guns release air slowly, and a nested barrel allows for pressure to build up behind the dart before the dart comes out of the barrel. This increases velocity which in turn increases range.
