Hello. I have 5 Nite Finders and one N-Strike system, and I would like to modify them. I have searched so don't tell me to search! I found one mod for the Nite Finder, but all it said was to increase barrel length which does jack squat for me because the local Home Depots don't sell the stuff for Stefans... I would really like to modify my fix the P.O.S, aka the Scout so as to get SOME performance out of it. Is there anyway I can increase the range for my Hornet and my Nite Finders??? I don't know what I can do with the Titan... it's just cool . I have an Airtech of some sort, I don't know what model it is cuz I got it as a birthday present. Many people have said that AirTechs are good, but I would seriously rather have a Scout in my hand than my AirTech cuz the AirTech is so big and doesn't yield much performance. Anyways, if you can tell me what model it is, it looks like this:

Anyways, apparently you don't know HOW to search, as I posted mods for the entire N-strike set just about 2 months ago. It's called search parameters, USE THEM. Searching is pointless if you don't search in the right place. Extend your search period to several months and try again. Try the terms:

Hornet mod
Titan mod
Scout mod

That's just for the N-strike.

I have searched so don't tell me to search!

Search again.



Wow, you find the picture, you HAVE the gun, both the gun AND the picture have stickers on them, and you still can't find the name? I'll do it for you. It's the Airtech 4000. Here's a picture to help you.



For the Airtech 4000, try www.nerfworld.com. If you PETG the thing, it'd be a beast of a gun. All guns can be modified, the Airtech 4000 is certainly not an exception.

As for the Nitefinder, if you really can't

Use sch40 pvc and stock micros.

I dont know bout you all, but I can most definatly not see what number that si in the picture, looks more like a 2 or 3, so give the guy a break. No body helped him, they were just being asses. But listen to Ompa, generelize your search a bit perhaps?

Simply use sch40 pvc in place of the brass in the mods.

Sure u could mod that huge thing or u could mod it and rip off the shell and reduce the size and mount it on somthin else. Oh and BTW these guys know what their talking about so don't insult them.

I have bad eyes and the picture looks like it says 3000 or 2000, and for some reason my AT either came with no stickers or they were scratched/peeled off before I recieved the gun.

And I'm not stupid either. I was bumped up 2 grades, and I am waiting for the results of another test. Now call me stupid you little prick

I appreciate people like ompa and THIRST, who actually read what they type before they post, and think of what somebody else would think when they read it. And they don't make pointless comments to increase their stupidity level or their post count, they are actually helpful and kind. But kindness matters more than the helpfulness, and kindness is what is lacking in these forums. What a perfect greeting, being called stupid after your first post on a forum. That really makes me want to come here again.

This forum isn't known for it's kindness, that's more of NHQ. And it's a nerf forum, don't take insults so seriously.

Intelligence has nothing to do with grades. I think grades more or less reflect common sense and work ethic.

And don't mind my post count, I have NO idea how it got that high. I think MOST of my posts have been useful... kinda... sorta... Ah who am I kidding.

Matt, you COULD actually rip the heads off of your stock darts, then put some hot glue, a weight, then hot glue a dome on the top and you'll have excellent performing stefan substitutes.

Here mattpaintballer let me help you with the mod for the titan, i have an excellent one that will crush anyother mod for the titan. First take a 2 inches of 17/32'' brass and wrap some electrical tape around the brass until a 2 inch piece of a 1/2'' pvc fits firmly over it and then hot glue a ring of glue around the gap between the brass and the pvc. Then hot glue that into the orange thing and by the way, in order to fit the pvc/brass into the orange thing, you have to sandpaper the crap out of the pvc until it fits. Once you do that take 12 inches of 9/16'' brass and wrap two rings of tape around that until 8 inches of a 1/2'' of pvc fits over that and make sure that the pvc slides over the brass so that there is about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch space between one of the ends of the brass. Then take a 1/2 inch coupler and connect them and then you are done! You also can plug up the pump release valve and you can do the trigger pull mod. My expectations for this gun are...pain!

Your post was stupid, and the posts afterward were too.. You should have clarified that you couldn't see the number and that your gun didn't have a sticker. Otherwise you would and did look like a dumbass. Also...ompa emphasized that there is a search button for a reason.

Many people have been flamed on their first post, including me, but most of us don't cry about it. And when people get flamed (for a good reason), they normally realize that they were being asshats, instead of being an idiot and trying to flame back.

Not the best mod. Ompa's is the best, since yours won't allow for the rocket to be used.
And his gets 200 +-15 feet. Matt- people aren't gonna say oh my garsh, you are so smart. 2 Grades- you must be a genius!!!...

Just for funs sake i modified my stefan by putting a bolt into the top of the dart instead of a bb and when i shot it, it went straight through a coke can making a perfect piercing hole and then traveling 50 feet more.

and this is why i think having your child skip grades is stupid. they simply never learn how to use the search function. in fact, right now i'd post a direct link to ragornock's nitefinder mod, but i'm going to be a pain in the ass. try going to modifications, and then to nitefinder. after that search the forum your in: theres hundreds of old and new topics about the nitefinder, and while your at it stop being a little bitch.
