I've used only micros and mini marshmellow so far. Is there anything better out there, mini marshmellows are pretty inexpensive and they work well too. Please list the types here.

.22 caliber, .30 caliber..oh wait...
Make your own damn darts. It's cheap and tedious, almost feels like working. I still have yet to master the art of hot glue doming...but it will come with practice.
Other buyable types?
Whistling darts
Nerf Megas
Arrows
Nerf Micros
Glow-in-the-dark darts
Nerf balls
Missiles
I can't seem to think of any others at the moment. I'm sure there's more.

I am pretty sure that a certain paintball size( I think 60cal.) fits inside PVC nicely. I heard arrows are not allowed to be made anymore because when they switched from company to company (i think it was Larami and Hasbro) they forgot to get the arrow patent in the contract so you can't buy them anymore.

Yeah, give credit where credit is due. You heard it from me, I was told by the head of nerf. Yeah, Hasbro somehow does not own the pattent to the originals arrows like those found on the SM5k, BNA and X bow.
As far as ammo goes, you can also use mega stefs that fit into pvc.
Talio.
