i've converted my CPS 2700 into a loser rifle, it goes about 150'. plz post urs here. btw im precisions bro and i suck at starting topics. im not good at explaining things eitherere it goes, i unscrewed the shell of the 2700 and mounted the insides of it inside of a crutch. i'll get a pic asap. if the air tank ever blows up i'll just replace it with a 2"x8" PVC tank with a PSI gauge and a extra port for a backpack tank.

Yeah, Vacc and I ripped apart a CPS supersoaker a while ago... like when they first came out, I don't remember when the fuck that was. It is the biggest one they make (it's huge). We used compressed air to fill the air bladder because it was a pain in the ass to pump up all the way. Ours shot two darts (two barrels) anywhere from 150' to 200'. It shot regular stefans around 130-150' consistently. The 200' number comes from when we made some heavier darts for it and the damn things rocketed. We, however, left it in the original casing and modified it slightly (removed the water resovior, etc). We also removed many many many peices during the course of the modification (screens, valves, etc.).

We later decided it was not to be used due to the fact that it required a compressed external air source in order to fire it. It would be pretty cool to add a compressed air backpack with a valve to fill the bladder (or take out the bladder), though.

Ya it can shoot 200' angled consitently. My other weaker supersoaker shot 180' consistently w/ only a 6" 9/16" brass barrel. I mean it may sound extradinary, but a modded sm5000 will get 130' flat consitantly on 4 pumps. Good paintgun's w' stock barrels get 150 flat. In comparison to flat/angled distances the powerclip will get 78angled and 32feet flat. The ratio is almost universally around 2.2 for angled to flat distances. This puts the modded sm5000 at 286' theoretically, though the multiple increases usually with increased range. For instance the sm250 will get 24' max but gets 16' flat, a 1.5 ratio. The MBZ gets 42angled and 21 flat an exact 2 ratio, proving the angled to flat ratio increases continously as you move up.

Raptor, please try to use capitalization in your posts, since you seem to have period usage down.

Raptor, what kind of darts are you using? You should be able to get more range than that if you use micro stefans.

I've been using the micros you can buy from ur local store, mini marshmellows, and the micros you get for the at3k. Hehe, marshmellows. Oh, 1 more thing, how many pumps before the bladder pops? I've gotten it to 75 so far. Oh, and with Nitefinder micros I've gotten it to go twice as far as red micros, wonder why?

Yeah, I'll get a picture up soon of his crutch gun. I have a crutch gun too (we are brother's by the way) it's a cps 3200. It's airtank is huge, it can hold 150+ pumps. I can't range test it because I keep losing the stupid darts

I made a Super Soaker CPS 2500 with a brass barrel mod that shoots around 170 flat with 30-40 pumps using fish weight darts.

Also made a Super Soaker CPS 4100 with brass barrel. Shoots around 170-200 ftwith less pumping than the CPS 2500.

I'm in the process of modding my CPS 2500 into a pump-free gas canister propelled loser rifle. I will post pictures when I'm done!

With these particular mods you should be getting further ranges from the Megas rather than Micros. There is just more mass in the megas...
