Just finished moding an old tippman .68 special. Its semi, haven't measured range yet, but I will. I'd love to send you all a pic, but I can't figure out how too. Someone tell me how, and I'll post it.

try to avoid double posting, it's usually not taken to kindly here. If you want, you could just email me the pictures and I'll upload them onto my account. ompa1010@gmail.com if you want.

My apologies for being a nit-picky ass, but I'd also suggest using capitals and periods, it's just a forum custom/rule around here, and it'll help you garner respect.

It was actually fairly easy to do. I decided to make my own air tank, so that I could fill it with a bike pump(damn store charges too much). The original barrel could be removed by loosening the screw, then replacing the old barrel with a pvc one.

How many pumps does it take to fill the tank and how many shots do you get whith a full tank? How far does it shoot? And lastly, can I buy something like this?
Nice job. ^_^

Sorry to say that, I haven't been able to test it all yet. I've lost my bike pump, and the air tank still is leaking a bit. I literally took the pictures right after I finished it. Also finding one of these would be hard, as I said before its a tippman .68 special, which is fairly old. Tippman guns have gotten way to complex since then, but it still may be easy to mod one.

Good job with the Tippman modding. Personally, I would keep the Tippman for its original purpose because they are really good guns, but hey, whatever floats your boat. I can't wait to see how well it fires.

Excuse the lame paint version, dad's still at work with the laptop which has photoshop. I extremely like what you've done so far, but with a clip system, and a bit of resin [i know, i know] this thing would look mighty awesome.

Again, excuse the lame artwork.

A clip system would be very difficult to incorperate, on the othe hand darts can be slipped into a side opening where paintballs would normally be...

Tippmann's are extremely durable. Even the new tippmann a-5 only has 15 moving parts, which is nothing compared to the autocockers 144. The only thing people have against tippmann's is that they're big and heavy like a real gun, but basically they are as good or better than any angel, cocker etc. I'd reccomend a talon cuz they suck and tippmann's rule, even the old .68 pump gun. I could never see myself doing that to my prolite.
