Alright, southpaw(lefty) here put me up to the challene of making a tube clip friendly dart. After my first few designs failed, Arcanis did too. What a coincedence. I wuld take a picture, or make a diagram, but the computer with the nessaary programs is under reformatting-atation, so I cant do anything. Basically, I cut a 3/4" long peice of fbr, and in the middle of it(not at the ends) I made a small hole with a screwdriver, and lenght-widened it by sticing it in a bit more at an angle. I then put a bb in, pushed to to one side, another bb in, and pushed it to the opposite side. I added sme hot glue, and made it the ma eshape as the dart so it would work, and whalla. It can work in a 1/2 pvc tube clip, but gets a bit less difference. By about 10 feet. A small price t pay, since tube clips are used on already powerful guns. It doesnt need shells! if someone would plea emake a diagram sine I can, that would be great. Gawd I feel helpless withoulassotoshop!

[bb=-=bb]

[ is the ends, bb is the bb, = is the foam, - is the small hole which is sealed by hotglue. The ends are foam, not hotglue, to clear it up.

I just made 5 of them, put them in pvc, set the pvc at a 45 degree angle right next to the table, and they all fell middle down, so they should work. Ill call them "MTD's"(Magazine tube darts) instead of reffering to them as "those darts that work in a tube clip".

Alright, heres a quick mspaint..the hot glue is "I" shaped, because you just stick it in the hole, and glue away! it should fill u the main body of the dart, and the hole. The two cirlces are the two bb's. Sorry it sucks, I hate mspaint...a lot.

Adapting it to a barrel and clip with a seal and no shells will be a bit tricky, but it'll be worth it, right? This could make clips a lot easier to do, since the RSCB didnt work for everyones dart/barrels...Though this would have to be with..what kind of barrel?

Alright, how can we make something like this airtight? The box a the end is whatever the barrel cnnects too, valve or plunger tube.

EDIT again: If we put an endcap on the top, it will be airtight, and when the dart comes in, and you fire, the air will have to leave through the barrel, brigning the dart with it.

Im sorry for the double post folks, but I jsut made one of these babies, and loaded with ti down regular darts, it worked just like a regular gun, in my titan. It never skips, and is the most beautiful thing ever. I didnt use a 45 degree angle coupler on mine, just a straight up T coupler, and it works. An endcap is on the end, micro darts woring in 1/2 pvc. Pictures, when Dean installs the "goods".

Total congrats. I guess in a Titan, the 10 feet differential won't matter :lol: . And the better ROF must be sweet.

Yeah, but wth regular darts, theres no skippage, regular range, and it works worse(rangewise) with the spiecal darts. Im happy, but surpirsed. Try it, I aint kidding.

Wait- these darts are better? Wow...
Wondering: do you prefer this over the Quad barreled?

No, the regular darts are better, the speical darts are not, only because the regular darts actually work, everyone assumed they wouldnt. prefer t over the quad barrel because I can achice true semi auto with it, and the rof is amazing. its easy to make too.

But my diagram is not what I did, I just used a T coupler, with the clip sticking up at 90 degrees and it worked.

Wouldn't the dart be unstable?

I want to know how it straightens before firing, as the width of the pvc is not nearly enough for it to turn in.

That is so cool. What nerf guns, could make use of the T-clip (and ammo)?
