1/2" PVC is perfect for a 2k pump shaft to fit in. So, If you extend the pump using pvc, you would have a more efficient and comfertable 2k. You would:
1. cut the original pump down to the check valve area
2. glue a slightly longer peice of pvc on the check valve
3. using metal rods, extend the handle to fit the new pump

But the trigger for the 2K slides on the pump shaft. If you make the pump shaft fatter, the trigger won't slide on it.

The pump tube is different from the pump shaft. The pump shaft has the black handle on it. Good idea, I'm gonna go do this now actually.

I'm gonna test it out. And southpaw, plastic is usaully bendable.

No, you dont get it. The trigger slides on the pump tube. ifyou make the pump tube fatter, then the trigger wnt fit aroun it. Though there are plenty of ways around it, just hack off the bottum half, it wont be as sturedy.
