Nothing that new. I have a 2 inch piece of 17/30 brass that telescopes into a 6 inch piece of 9/16 brass. I kept on the angle cut piece and cut the sch.80 along that angle. Ported a fake silencer for protection. I also took out the red laser and put in the top piece from a flashlight and glued that in place, works beautifully. Painted everything flat black and banded it.




Tell me what you guys think?

The ranges of this gun is surprisingly around 75~80. With bands though.

At the moment I have 4 bands on. I also lubed up the plunger tube.

Very nice, I'm liking the ranges, although you probably lose alot of ROF with such a long barrel that you have to remove.
Seems like it would be a surprisingly good primary weapon...

I bet you a snuffaluffagus and a half that thing isnt going near 80 feet. NF's and TTG's, just cant go 80 feet. Its called a messup in measuring, and it happens to the best of us. And me a lot of the time, Talio

Nice job My NF only gets about 45 feet with rubber bands. Although I haven't done a barrel replacement yet (which means everything is going as planned, this is going to be a tight pistol ). My NF's light I replaced with a REAL Laser which works great indoors, but doesn't show up outdoors (meaning it isn't much better than the old light, except that I can mess up peoples eyes.Wait a second that isn't a good thing...)

Does that barrel stay on when your running? It looks like theres only about 1/2 inch of that the barrel covers.

Actually, its not a work of art. The paintjob looks un-even and crappy in my opinion. The holes in the support/moc silencer are crooked and half-assed. I havent seen a single one with STRAIT and EVENnly drilled holes. Do you people even measure and mark out your holes?

NFs and TTG can get 80' but I dought yours do. Mine would get 80' but I had increased plunger seals. They didnt last however getting squished down over time and use, something you didnt even do.

NinjZ, why are you so angry at everybody lately? If you think it sucks you should probibly keep It to yourself. Blink wouldn't lie. He not one of those crazy people who come on NerfHaven and make a new thread first thing and say that there getting 150+ out of some gun that barely even goes 100. Point is: Don't worry, be happy.

Sorry ½ but I’m kind of on ninjz side surprisingly. I enjoy seeing my guns taking good comments about them but also you need some bad ones…or else you would never learn what your doing wrong… but as the range…it does get 75 believe it or not?


And yea the barrel does stay in when I’m running. You really have to whip it for the barrel to fall out!

Interesting design. THough I think that it isn't altogether that advantageous to add a break barrel onto a NF. The Nested brass + PVC makes it quite heavy, and unless you are involved in a pistol war, my thought is that the NF is a light, small gun that can be whipped out after both you and your opposition fire that initial bullet.
The rest of you: I wouldn't doubt the ranges, because NF's can go quite far, but they have a lack of power after about 20 feet. You're not going to shoot someone 60+ feet away with a NF (or hit them if they're watching).

Great project though, looks like a nice *so you think nerf sucks, huh?* piece that you can show to people.
