Well, I finally decided to get off my ass and brass the arrowstorm I recieved a little while ago.

I'm using 6 6" brass barrels, and the dart fit is good plus I took a bit of care in making the darts I tested the gun with and they fly straight in my SM1500.

My ranges are 10-15 feet.I'd like someone to post a picture of the internals since I'm thinking something isn't sealing right somewhere.

Maybe your dart fit is good, but not quite tight enough. I use CPVC for my arrow storm, it works very well, and cpvc fights my darts fairly tightly. Other than that, you might want to check the barrel seals.

I'm pretty sure it's not dart fit, I used part of the same piece in a Maxshot barrel and it hits 100+ feet consistently.

I have 4 modded with 9/16th brass and they work great 60+ feet. All you really need to do is wrap tape around the barrels so they are fitting in the posts nice and snug. You really don’t need to open the gun up to get these ranges, in fact the only thing you should do is maybe a spring replacement but I don’t think it is really all that necessary. What did you do when you opened it up?

All I did was look at the mechanism&parts.
Also it seems on my gun there isn't a very good plunger seal, do you think I should use electrical tape on the head and use vegatable oil as lube?

For plunger seals, I would use a lube of somesort, and then wrap the plunger head in masking tape (lower friction than electrical tape, and its cheaper), but not in that order.

You may also want to check the rotating mechanism. If you only getting 10-15 it could be the plunger or it may be that your alignment is off and cutting your airflow down.

Right now the plunger tube's head seems to be going into the assembly fine, it makes a seal, and I used electrical tape to get the barrels in snug.I'll try the plunger mod later this week when I get access to my tools.

I'd still like internal pics please just to make sure I didn't put something back in wrong.

Take the rubber on the plunger head and bend it back some a few times to make it wider. Then just put it all back together. Dont use oils or gels for lubeing, it gets messy. Use graphite lubricant. Or strip the wood off some pencils and mash the crap out of the lead into a powder.

Did another range test, and it's making 40-50 feet.Ninjz I'll try that with the plunger head.
