[Dan Wask]

When I first got this shell, I knew that I was going to have some work cut out for me. Little did I know just how much work it was gonna be.



You can see here the ginourmous freakin hole in the shell.
I intended to use a tornado handgrip, and some bondo and plexie later, we have this.



Its still a work in progress, so I'll update every so often.

How the hell are you gonna get the plunger tube back in their? Theirs a gapeing hole where the front of it would be supported by the case. Are you going to put a pump gun inside or something? It definately looks sweet with the tornado grip on it.

Right-o, I finnally buckled down after some dirtbiking today and finished the internals of the gun. Here she is.



Routing the damn pump through the origional barrel hole was one of the hardest things I've done. Its still gonna need some more bondo and a paintjob, but its gettin there.

Its an sm3k tank with an at2k shortened pump. On 10 pumps it gets about 90-100 feet. Its hard to tell today cus' its a little windy. ROF is pretty good, it usually takes about 3 seconds to move the dart down, and another 3 to pump.

I have to say, that think is pretty pimp. My Tornado craped out on me due to the cocking mechanism, I only wish I had a Crossbow shell to work with.

Where is the trigger? Is it that orange thing inside the trigger frame?

Yeah, its hard to see cus of the picture. The trigger functions beutifully.

You could easily intagrate another gun into the foregrip of that thing.

I'm not sure I'd want to though. The thing is ten times more comfortable than a regular xbow, and I want this thing to stay clean. I hate having pumps glued on the out sides of guns.

It is ugly as hell though. But maybe with a cleanup and paintjob.

It's very functional, but looks like shit. With a paintjob, hopefully it will look a lot better. Good job overall.

Well shes all done. A 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of flat black later, here it is, the beast know as "FS2k3"



After painting the gun, I realized how freakin real this thing looks, So I mixed up my favorite color of orange "Slorange" (Its just silver and orange paint mixed together), and painted it on the end of the barrel. Its rather hard to see in the picture, but I found some clear red vinyl tubing at home depot. It looks awesome up close. I thought that because of where I routed the tubing it would cause problems aiming, but It actually sticks staight up and helps a little bit.

Hmm, that skinny barrel sticking out the front looks a little off/wussy. Mabey put a bigger bit of PVC around it to bulk it up some?

Very well done. I don't think the barrle needs bulking up. I've been trying to get some gun shells and do something like this myself. Nice job.

Bravo, indeed. Isn't there anyway to get the extra vinyl inside the gun? It's just... there. But that's my half cent. And I think a bulkier and maybe straighter barrel would look great. But it is already great. Gotta do that to my extremely screwed shell of an X-Bow.
