OK i am a new nerfer and a true to heart speedball paintballer. but recently my school had started a nerf war thing. and before i got into paintball i had a blastfire and a night finder. My Blast fire has never worked, but i really need it to work b/c i am being stalked by the other team.

The problem is much like others problems. when i pump it 6-7 times it only shoots through the first hole. Inside my gun I noticed how it was made and found a picture that was under the modifications part of this website. The picture showed me the internals of the blastfire. I noticed that there was a spring or something in the back, connected to the little latch thing. Ok now i dont have one of these things, and im wondering if i could replace it with something, such as a rubber band or another spring. I have gotten it to work but I have to hold the back part forward for it to shoot properly. I think the spring is there to hold it in place.

Thank you for the time, and please dont flame me, and im sorry if i have teased you at your local paintball field

Signed. Paintballer at heart.

I see no reason that a rubber band wouldn't work... I don't know where you'd connect it to, but I really don't know much about Blastfire internals. I'd say you should try things untill you find something that works.

Hope this helps...

Are you pulling the slide back before you pump ? Cus when I found my blastfire in my basement I thought it was broken until I realized that you need to work the slide first.

Just hook a rubber band to the green slide and the front of the gun. When you fire all 5 shots, pull the slide back so the gun will reset.

Do you have any money to purchase any new guns? The Airtech2000 can be purchased at target for $10 ( you get two ) and the N-strike set can be bought most anywhere now for $40. It comes with three guns and one that is exactly like the BlastFire excpet much cooler looking.

And I might add it fires better and in my opinion is way more accurate too.
