After a couple months of telling her that I would eventually get around to it, I finally gave in and sent Julie the (rather weak) footage I shot at Armageddon 2k4. Well, she's worked miracles yet again and turned some particularly bad camera work into a really swell nerf video.

My apologies in advance for the occasional stuttering in the video, especially towards the end. I don't know if it was my tape, the extraction, or her editing over the network, but there are definitely a few rough spots. I prefer to think of them as Paul kicking on his hyperdrive to avoid certain foamy death.

You know the drill, right-click and save link as. Pretend you're paying my hosting bill.

The link.

Edit: 19.5Mb of Nerfy sweetness.

I NEED to find some way I can play this. Anybody know of an app that plays .wmv files on Macs?

I can't wait to see the duels.

<edit> Wait, I got it. </edit>

Haha, I look funny. I also looked weird in my duel with Gamefreak, but that much cooler in real life.

Very nice video Cx. Also thanks goes out to Julie for an awesome editing job. I can't believe how nice it looks and there was only about twenty to thirty minutes of actual footage. I remember the war very well now. I miss my haircut.

And Ice Nine, if you just download the newest version of windows media player for mac, the video should work just dandy.

Yeah, I just downloaded Media Player 9. Video plays very well on my computer.

I sure do wish I had a LnL... I loved using that one at the war so much.

Feh, stupid money.

Decent footage, great music, unique location.

I think I sense a tear.

Really, though. I would bet that the majority of us here at Nerf Haven are freakishly jealous after the recent videos. To have a war that bid. *sigh* I am.

Hopefully the VANS2 pictures will be up soon...

There is one part where I'm dodging some darts and I look like I'm spazzing out  That's awesome!

maybe i can get my wussy 12-year-old followers into nerfing shape. they preformed poorly at armageddon, the only good move i saw by any of them was when my brothers friend (about 11, kind of tall for his age, asian, short hair) shot VACC (when almost everyone was watching). There were only three people left in the game and VACC had just capped off the other kid, pistol style.

As reported several times, this is a Windows Media Player file. Sorry it's not more platform agnostic but we're limited to using MS video editing products at the moment.

The guy in the NH baseball T and khakis is Rawray7. He owns me every war.

At the war, it was hilarious when Spoon got pwn3d by both Stephs.

I love the video, guys. Can't stop watching it.

Great video. What was the first song that was played? Whatever it was, it was cool.

The first song was "Paint It Black". It was originally written by The Rolling Stones, but I'm not sure who did that re-make.

Allright, my WMP (which was the lateste version) was just borked, but I got it working now. Awesome footage. I definitely fall under the "jealous" catagory.

Oh yeah, I too would like to know who is doing "Paint It Black". Thats a cool version (tho of course nothing is as cool as the Stones  )

Is that Bad Religion I hear later on?

The "Paint it Black" cover is "Gob" or "The Vines".

I highly doubt that is The Vines. The voice seems much too low.

iTunes doesn't have that version of the song, so I couldn't find it there.

Gamefreak, in that duel, I pwn3d you.

First song is a Gob cover of The Stones.

Second is Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.
